It should have been explained in detail, but fearing the abundance of words, it was not elaborated. Thus, each of the four philosophical schools believes that their own views are true, but among what is believed to be true, some are true, and some are not. Therefore, for those views that are not true but are believed to be true, the truth as believed by the higher schools and those who insist on believing it to be true will cause harm to them. However, the views that the higher schools believe to be true but are not actually established will not cause harm to the lower schools either. Such differences should be carefully distinguished. For example, as mentioned earlier, the Mind-Only school believes that the discriminated consciousness is the ultimate truth, but since it is not established, it does not cause harm to anyone, as has been said. Said: The four schools are true in their respective stages, ultimately only the Madhyamaka with appearances is definitive meaning. The four truths are true in their respective stages, ultimately the profound cessation truth is definitive meaning. The four reasons are true in their respective stages, ultimately the reason of Dharma-nature is definitive meaning. The four bodies are true in their respective stages, ultimately the self-nature body is definitive meaning. The five wisdoms are true in their respective stages, ultimately the Dharma-realm wisdom is definitive meaning. The five aggregates are true in their respective stages, ultimately the wisdom of vision is definitive meaning. The two truths are true in their respective stages, ultimately the ultimate truth is definitive meaning. Suchness and all that exists are true in their respective stages, ultimately suchness is definitive meaning. Dharma and Dharma-nature are true in their respective stages, ultimately the profound Dharma-nature is definitive meaning. Consciousness and wisdom are true in their respective stages, ultimately self-arisen wisdom is definitive meaning. Self-nature and adventitious stains are true in their respective stages, ultimately self-nature purity is definitive meaning. Luminosity and defilements are true in their respective stages, ultimately self-nature luminosity is definitive meaning. Provisional meaning and definitive meaning are true in their respective stages, ultimately the profound definitive meaning is definitive meaning. Liberation result and maturation result are true in their respective stages, ultimately the power of the liberation result, etc., is definitive meaning. The two types of accomplishments are true in their respective stages, ultimately the supreme accomplishment is definitive meaning. Stages and ultimate results are true in their respective stages, ultimately the ultimate of the result

is definitive meaning. The three turnings of the Dharma wheel are true in their respective stages. Ultimately, the third turning of the Dharma wheel is definitive meaning. The three natures are true in their respective stages. Ultimately, the unchanging, perfectly accomplished is definitive meaning. Although the three vehicles are true in their respective stages, ultimately, the Great Vehicle's appearance is definitive meaning. Although the three refuges are true in their respective stages, ultimately, the single Dharmakaya is definitive meaning. Thus, because the ultimate definitive meaning is established, the Tathagatagarbha is established as definitive meaning. Even within definitive meaning, there exist both provisional definitive meaning and ultimate definitive meaning. If one knows how to distinguish definitive meanings, then the basis for discordant disputes will be turned away. All spiritual friends who possess scriptural and reasoning knowledge, regarding the three turnings of the wheel, the three vehicles, the three refuges, the four philosophical schools, the two truths, and so forth, do not be partial, but practice them all. If you do so, then all the fruits of the provisional and ultimate will be easily accomplished, as declared by the sole protector of beings, the Bhagavan with his sons. May it be accomplished swiftly as it is said! This is a verse summarizing the meaning. This philosophical system that has been explained is a philosophical system of temporary joy and ultimate peace of mind. Why is it called joy and peace of mind? Unlike those teachings where the foundation is rotten, the root is lost, and the fruit is taken by frost, for sentient beings, the conventional truth is also established as conventionally true, hence temporary joy. The ultimate Tathagatagarbha is established as the ultimate truth. Thus, because the union of the two truths as the basis is established, the foundation is not rotten and the root is not lost. Because the ultimate Tathagatagarbha dwells pervading space, the clouds of conceptual thought are scattered by the wind of non-conceptual wisdom, and the Tathagatagarbha, the realm of self-nature purity, is also liberated from the clouds of adventitious conceptual defilements, revealing the inconceivable Buddha's Dharma, surpassing the sands of the Ganges River, possessing the two purities of possessing qualities, possessing the Dharmakaya of unconditioned bliss, spontaneously accomplished without birth or death, hence the fruit is not taken by frost, hence ultimate peace of mind. The reason why the basis, the conventional truth, exists is
