Thus, these nine harmful spirits brought diseases to the people in the land of Maha China, caused disasters to the four-legged livestock, and inflicted crop diseases on the fields of grain. At that time, the King of Miracles used the emanations of the nine harmful spirits, namely red pigs, red sheep, red birds, as well as copper powder, iron powder, cinnabar powder, rust powder, various black grains, fruitless ears, black ears, empty ears, various blind worms, beetles, and a heap of desirable offerings, to measure the abundant stone bushels of good harvest, pacifying the harm of rust, frost, and hail, making the harvest of grain fields abundant, and bringing prosperity and happiness to humans and livestock. Just like that event, we mantra-holders and practitioners accumulate perfect offerings, dispel disasters with mantras and mudras, and satisfy the nine harmful spirits with offerings.

Mix copper powder, iron powder, cinnabar powder, rust powder, various black beans, fruitless ears, empty ears, black ears, various insect eggs, insect pupae, and a Torma (sacrificial cake) filled with desirable objects to measure the abundance of crops. Pacify the three harms of rust, hail, and frost, so that the grains are full and the crops in the fields flourish, and the three—livestock, prosperity, and wealth—are peaceful and happy. Just as in worldly customs, we mantra holders and practitioners accumulate perfect ransom offerings, liberate them with the power of mantras and mudras, and satisfy the nine annual demons with the ransom offerings, so that there will be no more diseases in the year. Say, 'Go away, go to the land of the enemy!' Then perform the expulsion: 'Hum! I am the lord of secret mantras, the great hero who subdues the armies of demons.' 'If the lord of mantras issues a command, all the gods and the eight classes of spirits who obey, with the power of unforgetting vows and promises, do not let the year have diseases, go to the land of the enemy!' 'Expel the demons of hail, frost, and rust, do not harm my fields and crops, go to the land of Black Rudra!' 'If you are expelled and do not go, I will strike you with an iron hammer; if you remain like leftovers, I will bind you with copper utensils; if you harm and cause trouble, I will imprison you in an iron net.' 'Do not violate the true oath!' Recite 'Om Deva Deva Shi Garang Dza La Bhyo Ya Kuru Phat' intensely. Visualize that the demons of rust do not look back and go to the far shore of the great ocean. Throw the Torma into a great river, or if that is not suitable, send it to a place where villages cannot be seen, seal it with the formless seal, recite auspicious words, and then return home. Ninth, the method of chasing and suppressing: On poisonous paper, with the blood of a leper and menstrual blood, draw a red person with a copper beak, whose hands and feet are bound with iron chains, and write 'Nri' on the heart, and 'Jah' on the left and right. Around the edges, write: the rust of the wood element in the east, the rust of the fire element in the south, the rust of the iron element in the west, the rust of the water element in the north, and the rust of the earth element in the center and four corners. Let the red-eyed, long-beaked demons who create rust enter this image Lingam, and recite 'Khug Dza Dzah' around it. Visualize the image being tormented by many weapons, and recite 'Om Hari Hari Sod, Hi Ri Hi Ri Sod,' let all the rust insects close their mouths, seal their throats, Rust Sattvambhaya Nan, Dula Dula Shi Shi Ye Svaha,' recite five times around it. With the pride of your own Yidam (tutelary deity), speak words of truth, and repeat the invocation and dismissal many times. The suppression mantra is as mentioned above, recite 'Om Hari' etc. one thousand times. The substances for suppression include poisonous water, grass roots, cat hair, swan, snipe, pigeon feathers and blood, and kapok. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
