The term 'transformation' refers to the various subtle changes in pronunciation when transliterating Sanskrit mantras, such as changing 'क्रोध (krodha)' to 'क्रोत (krota).' These phonetic nuances are a crucial aspect of the esoteric instructions of mantras, possessing sharp and essential points. Such details cannot be fully understood through superficial analysis. For instance, in the 'Namasangiti' (མཚན་བརྗོད།, Praise of Names), 'Thigle Shongpa' (ཐིག་ལེ་སྟོང་པ།, bindu emptiness) corresponds to the phonetic equivalent of one hundred letters, while ' षट् (ṣaṭ)' (six) corresponds to 'Thigle Shong Yig Drug' (ཐིག་སྟོང་ཡིག་དྲུག, bindu emptiness six letters), symbolizing the letter 'E' composed of six stick-like forms. If ' षट् (ṣaṭ)' is transliterated as 'Shata,' it corresponds to the phonetic equivalent of one hundred, which can serve as the seed syllable for one hundred letters or one hundred deities. Although there is a significant difference between one hundred and six, they are not contradictory in meaning. Such phenomena may seem illogical to ordinary minds but are considered beautiful to the wise. Most mantras in the Nyingma (རྙིང་མ།, Ancient) tradition are in Tibetan, which raises doubts. However, in the Sarma (གསར་རྒྱུད།, New) tradition's 'Guhyasamaja Tantra' (ཕྱག་རྡོར་གསང་བ་མངོན་བསྟན།) and other texts, there are many similar Tibetan mantras. Furthermore, the mantras or songs in various tantras, such as the 'Hevajra Song' (ཀྱེ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་གླུ།), are not exclusively in Sanskrit but contain numerous phonetic variations. Therefore, the secret symbols of dakinis (མཁའ་འགྲོ།, khandro), as well as gods, nagas (ལྷ་ཀླུ།, lha klu), yakshas (གནོད་སྦྱིན།, nodjin), and the variations of human languages, such as Sanskrit corruptions, are blessed in four forms. Additionally, languages of various regions, such as Tibetan, are blessed. If all Dharmas were not explained through various etymologies, a single language would only be a teacher for one place and could not teach in all places. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have correctly understood various etymologies teach in various languages, as stated in the sutras: 'In the languages of gods, nagas, yakshas, kumbhandas, humans, and birds, and in as many sounds as there are beings, I teach the Dharma in all languages.' Similarly, mantras to be recited are not only blessed in Sanskrit but can be blessed in other languages as well. Therefore, in the Nyingma tradition, there are mantras preserved with blessings in Chinese transliteration. Some Shambhu (ཤམྦུ།) and actual mantras are also expressed in Tibetan. These were intentionally taught by extraordinary beings like Padmasambhava (པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས།), who understood their rapid effectiveness. Reciting in these ways is infallible. For example, the mantra of Putra Bhadra exists in the Zhangzhung language and was buried as a treasure at Samye Monastery (བསམ་ཡས།). Later, when some people unearthed the treasure, the translator Rinchen Zangpo (རིན་ཆེན་བཟང་པོ།) performed rituals, but the mantra transliterated into Chinese was unsuccessful, while the mantra in the Zhangzhung language was able to subdue enemies, demonstrating that Padmasambhava had knowledge of the three times. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the Sakya masters have said, the word 'No' is worthy of praise, from which it can be known. Therefore, as Shantideva said: 'For the principles of the Dharma, those who are capable are sufficient.' It is very difficult to measure the ability of the Dharma and individuals. It is best to place faith in the Dharma that one has no doubt about, and to remain neutral without slandering others. As Maitreya Bodhisattva said: 'The fault of the mind is inherently evil. It does not approve of things that are illogical, let alone the Dharma that is full of doubts? Therefore, it is best to remain neutral, there is no good or bad.' Of course, if one sees someone defiling the Dharma with falsehoods, confusing the words and meanings of the teachings, then out of cherishing the Dharma, one should expose its incorrectness. However, for the existing Dharmas, I don't think there is much need for too much judgment and discussion about whether they are pure or not. Therefore, for the prejudices and hatred of the new and old schools, those who say that the old Dharma is impure should be carefully examined to eliminate doubts. Now, I will explain the reasons why the former masters said that the Old Translation Nyingma school is superior to the New Translation school in six aspects. The great lion speaker Rongzompa Chökyi Zangpo said: 'Regarding the greatness of the guide and the patron (yon bdag, benefactor): The patrons of the Old Translation school are the embodiments of the three lords, the holy Avalokiteśvara, Manjushri, and Vajrapani, namely the three Dharma Kings (Chögyal Mes Dbon Nam Sum), which is different from the patrons of the New Translation school. Regarding the greatness of the place of translation: The former translation places were the manifested temples such as Samye Monastery and the upper and lower wheels of Dharma (Chökhor Tömé), which are different from the current village monasteries such as Phakphuk. Regarding the greatness of the translators: The former translators were Vairotsana, Kawa Paltsek, Chokro Lui Gyaltsen, and Zhang Yeshe De, as well as the incarnate translators such as Ma Rinchen Chok, Gya Yeshe Yang, and Nub Namkhai Nyingpo, who translated the Dharma. Now, those who only know a little grammar are called translators, living in Tibet in the summer and occasionally going to Nepal in the winter to translate, which is different from before. Regarding the excellence of the Panditas: The Dharma invited by Shantarakshita, Buddha Guhya, Padmasambhava, Vimalamitra, and other saints who lived in the land of the Buddha and the great Bodhisattvas, is different from those who wander around for gold now. Regarding the offering of flowers: The Dharma that was offered after measuring it with the wool and bushels of golden Shaga sheep, is different from those who now take out one or two pieces of gold from their sleeves to request the Dharma. Regarding the excellence of the Dharma: The Dharma translated when the Buddha's teachings were flourishing in India, not only that, but also the tantras that did not exist in India, held by Bodhisattvas, accomplished ones, Vidyadharas, and Dakinis, residing in pure lands, and in Jambuling (the world inhabited by humans)' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
