It is not contradictory. Although it is necessary to be certain that there are unique key points of oral instructions, since those tantras and oral instruction documents are explained in detail separately, they are not written here due to space constraints. In general, the difficult points of the tantras should never be measured solely by narrow-minded views, but it is not impossible to resolve them with the wisdom of thoroughly investigating the truth. If reason can be established, then it can be proven by scripture and logic. Therefore, these three proofs (referring to lineage, oral instruction, and reason) are possessed by our transmitted tantras, so they are trustworthy. Most of the later translations are consistent with the earlier translations, and that's all. As for minor documents such as sadhanas, reliable sources identical to the earlier translations cannot be found. As Rög Sherab Ö said: 'Later in India, the Buddhist sangha declined, the tantras gradually declined, and most of the Sanskrit originals were also lost. A few siddhas took (texts) from the secret treasures of the dakinis, but they did not understand their meaning and did not preserve them well.' 'At that time, in the era known as the Later Dissemination, Indian pandits who coveted gold inquired about which teachings were valued in Tibet, and then fabricated many teachings. Those translators who desired to be known as skilled translators stayed in India in the summer and wandered in Nepal in the winter. They made various alterations to the translations of the previous translators, Bodhisattvas. They regarded practices common to outsiders, such as tummo and bindu, as extraordinary, and cited Indian sources to elevate the new teachings, thus causing the decline of Buddhism.' Regarding how the gold-coveting pandits appeared, the history of the 'Great Destruction Ritual' in Sachen Kunga Tenzin's collected works records: Previously, Bari Lotsawa invited a pandit from Nepal, and because he had no gold, he went to Purang and met Tsenpo Tse De. Through empowerment and teaching, the king offered a hundred taels of gold. The pandit accumulated all that gold, and (Bari Lotsawa) said, 'Guru, please give me a little.' Not only did he not give it, but he scolded him in return. He was very frustrated and sent the pandit back to Nepal. When he arrived in Nepal, in the land of Kama, a heretical pandit named Kaldan Gyalpo said, 'You must be my translator and go to Tibet.' He refused, and that person said, 'I will not teach heretical teachings, but only Buddhist teachings.' But he did not listen, and (the heretical pandit) said, 'I will cast a spell on you.' (Bari Lotsawa) said, 'I have done nothing wrong, so it is impossible to cast a spell.' Then he went to India. There he met Guru Dorje Dampa and heard the Dharma. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is said that the Lama said that you would be harmed by heretics. I replied that it would not happen, but the Lama said it would. Then I explained what happened in Nepal, and the Lama gave me the mantra and Torma of Bhayana, and after sending the great Torma three times, the heretical Pandit died.’ This shows that, not to mention the ordinary Pandits of that time, even Gaya-dhara, who must have been a holy person, skilled in the key points of Lamdre and holding the lineage, is recorded in 'The Method of Finding Gold' or 'History of Lamdre': The Great Translator Drogmi heard many Vinaya, Prajnaparamita, and secret mantras from Rinchen Zangpo. From Bhikshu Pawodorje, a disciple of Virupa and Dombi Mitupa, he heard the Hevajra, including the three tantras and their branches, as well as the root of the inconceivable stages of Lamdre. After staying for twelve years, he returned to Tibet. When he taught many teachings, Gaya-dhara said, 'Bring paper'. When asked what teachings he knew, he thought he was proficient in Vajrayana and welcomed him. He stayed in the rock cave of Lhatse for five years. He offered five hundred sang of gold. He stayed in Mugulung. After three years, he said he would leave. Drogmi did not give gold. 'Bring Zurpoche, teach the Dharma'. After leaving, he offered one hundred sang of gold. Then he offered Gaya-dhara five hundred sang of gold at once. Gaya-dhara thought, 'Is it too much, is it an illusion?' On the road, he asked the people of Manggar Drilchen who were coming towards him, 'Is this gold?' The people said it was gold, and Gaya-dhara was very happy. 'Now what do you want?' Gaya-dhara said, 'I don't want anything'. He asked again, and Gaya-dhara said, 'Then, please don't tell this oral instruction to others'. The Lama agreed and then went to India. Drogmi offered the Great Translator Drogmi one sang of gold for each Dharma teaching, and gifts like a large silk tent. One morning, the gold of the mandala was used up, and there was not even a foot wrap, so he took his wife's silk skirt and offered it, but the Lama was not very happy. In this way, he made huge offerings that he could not afford, and once he borrowed a horse, the Lama said, 'There is no custom of a Lama borrowing things from a disciple', and did not borrow it. Drogmi said, 'Even if Drogmi now becomes Shakyamuni Buddha, he will not come here'. Then, when he died vomiting blood, he said, 'My Lama is a Buddha, he does not know how to observe the capacity of his disciples'. He gave all his property to Drogmi. Drogmi took Drogmi's bones in his arms and wept. After that, it is said that he taught all the key points without reservation. In general, when the Great Translator Drogmi taught the scriptures, he did not teach the key points, and when he taught the key points, he did not teach the scriptures. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
