Haven't you heard? Even if you have heard and understood, if you cannot prevent false lineages, what punishment will Rema (a person's name) receive? Is it necessary to say such contradictory words? Those Panditas, Siddhas, and Dharma Kings did not realize it at that time, but later you say you know it. Who with a little discernment would believe such words, except for those children who do not know how to investigate? Even if it is said that your scriptures were translated by different translators, it is the same. Such words cannot refute each other at all, so they have no meaning. For the sake of benefiting sentient beings, to declare non-Buddha-words as Buddha-words, to falsely accuse the Buddha with lies, and to usurp the Dharma, is a cause for going to hell. How could those learned and accomplished great beings do such a thing? This is definitely slander. If those holy people of that time spread such false Dharma, then later when you go to India and say that I translated it, who can prove it? The Dharma review system established by the Dharma King is just a formality. There is no reason why those translators would not create false Dharma. Therefore, why wouldn't the old translators doubt the new translators? So, such words, even if they arise from jealousy, will eventually become self-deprecation. Therefore, your evil words cannot have any evidence, so you are forbidden to speak. Third, refuting the statement that the fundamental tantra contradicts its own nature: Summarizing the excellent discourses of the wise men of the past, Ze Chen Maha Pandita Jamgon Tenzin Phelgye or Thutop Zhab said: In short, the reality of Dzogchen (Great Perfection) is: the view is perfectly accomplished, cause and effect are pure and equal, truth is non-dual, grasping and being grasped are naturally pacified, birth and death are empty, not falling into the extremes of existence and non-existence, not fabricated by the mind, not seeking outwards, not grasping inwards, not dwelling in the middle. All words are bonds of terms and concepts, and all thoughts and examinations are merely imputed by discrimination, therefore, abiding in a state of not acknowledging self-nature. As it is said in the Vajrasattva Heart Mirror: Know that all wisdom-dharmas are free from the discriminating mind of self-grasping. However, in various situations, those who presume to realize the profound Dharmata (nature of reality) with the mind are frightened by the profound words of Dharmata being beyond the mind, and think that this seems to refute the lower stages of the path, for those who are not familiar with the profound and vast realms, but only with speculative minds. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although some people diligently engage in narrow ascetic practices, these pale in comparison to the correct view, both in terms of time and importance. As the noble Manjushri (文殊菩萨) said: 'Yogis are busy with various activities, like pursuing a mirage on a vast road. Although it always appears, it cannot be grasped. Therefore, all these people have incorrect views. Lower yogic wisdom is surpassed by higher wisdom. Lower wisdom is refuted by higher wisdom.' Therefore, we should understand this and be skilled in pacifying the root of disputes, dissolving them into the inconceivable nature of reality. When revealing the nature of Dzogchen (大圆满), it directly reveals the view that is free from action and the ultimate meaning of self-arisen wisdom that does not abide in the realm of causes and conditions. In this case, it is explained that there is no need to strive for cause and effect, and no need to cling to artificial dharmas. However, some Tibetans complain that this is similar to the view of the Hwashang (汉和尚) who abandoned practices. In fact, when the Tathagata (如来) first turned the wheel of Dharma, the teaching that the cause and effect of virtue and non-virtue are infallible was established as provisional meaning (Drangdon) in consideration of the worldly level. The middle and final turnings of the wheel are not inherently inconsistent with the characteristics of the three doors of liberation (Namthar Gosum), but there is only a difference in the depth of revealing the reality of profound meaning. The distinction between provisional and definitive meaning lies in whether they are conditioned or unconditioned, and in the emphasis of the content. This is well known and recognized by all wise people. Precisely because of this, when temporarily acknowledging that all dharmas included in the middle wheel of Dharma are empty of self-nature, and explaining this as the ultimate meaning, it is found to be free from all objects of focus, abandoning all concepts and discriminations, and having no objects to be accepted or rejected. In short, it transcends the realm of grasping and the grasped, and abides in the unconditioned reality, in which the characteristics of the three doors of liberation also reside. Therefore, Dzogchen practitioners, in the ground phase, view samsara and nirvana as equal, and do not distinguish the differences between cause and effect; in the path (Lam) phase, they do not discriminate anything, and do not cling to the extremes of acceptance and rejection; in the fruit (Drebu) phase, they make the core of their view the realization that is free from hope and fear, and that all dharmas dissolve into the exhaustion of all things. As the Kunjed Gyalpo (普贤王如来根本续) says: 'The most supreme yoga, in Dzogchen...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
