From the lotus with growth, light radiates, and swift goddesses emerge like dust in sunlight, seizing the life and merit of the Vajra disciples, stealing, increasing, the essence of the great elements, the life and merit of all sentient beings, all the perfections of the three realms, and all the blessings of body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and disciples, gathering and dissolving into the vase in the hand. From this, immeasurable immortal nectar arises. Entering from the crown of the Vajra disciples, filling the entire body, all impurities are cleansed, and generate faith in attaining the stable and powerful accomplishment of immortality. Thus indicate, wave the arrow banner, and recite: ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan), ह्रीः (Sanskrit Devanagari), hrīḥ (Sanskrit Romanization), Great Kind (Literal Chinese meaning) O Protector of Immortality, God of Longevity! etc., the longevity invocation. Longevity retraction: Again, from the ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan), ह्रीः (Sanskrit Devanagari), hrīḥ (Sanskrit Romanization), Great Kind (Literal Chinese meaning) in the heart of the Guru, light radiates, inviting Amitayus from the Western Pure Land, surrounded by the lineage lamas of the longevity transmission and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Dissolving into the Amitayus in the vase, from which it appears like one lamp spreading to two. Dissolving from the crown of your heads, the body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas Amitayus, and your body, speech, and mind become one taste. Generate faith in realizing the immortal Vidyadhara of longevity. After saying this, place the vase on the crown of the head, and pray: Bhagavan Protector Amitayus, Dakini Secret Wisdom, Guru Padmasambhava, Great Accomplisher Palden Dorje, Omniscient Sonam Gyatso, Khonton Paljor Lhundrup, Zurchen Choying Rangdrol, Ngagi Wangchuk Lobsang Gyatso, etc., up to our kind root guru, all the glorious and precious root and lineage lamas, please bless! Pacify these disciples' bodily illnesses, mental sufferings, all obstacles, adversities, and fears, upper demonic influences, lower Naga influences, intermediate king's harms, and all fears of untimely death! Recite the long dharani. Then, based on the longevity wine, bestow the empowerment: By consuming this longevity wine, the essence of immortal nectar, the seventy-two thousand channels in the body are filled with immortal nectar, the eighty innate conceptual thoughts cease in the Dharmadhatu, and experience the bliss-emptiness indivisible awareness. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May the samadhi of immortality arise in your mind, restore all the powers of the root, channels, and bindus, and attain the immortal vidyadhara. In particular, may you, through the practice of Dzogchen, be fortunate to practice longevity. 'Recite this mantra and offer longevity wine. Empowerment through longevity pills: 'By taking this longevity pill, which embodies all the essence of samsara and nirvana, may all four hundred and four diseases, eighty thousand obstacles, all hindrances and misfortunes be purified, and may you attain the immortal longevity vidyadhara. In particular, may you, through taking essence, be fortunate to practice longevity.' And recite: 'Auspicious longevity and glorious food, the essence of condensed nectar, today may the child eat this, eating this, may you become Buddha Amitayus. If you rely on this food, from all diseases, you will be liberated without doubt.' Recite the mantra and give the longevity pill. Then, in order to ensure that the accomplishment of longevity never diminishes, perform the binding of longevity: 'Visualize in your heart, within the white light of the longevity support, the consciousness in the form of the letter Nri (Tibetan: ནྲྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: नृ, Sanskrit Romanization: nṛ, Chinese literal meaning: none), located in the sun and moon gau box (a type of amulet box). Bind it without interruption with the vajra chain (a type of unbreakable knot).' Touch the heart and recite: 'Sun and moon gau box, indestructible vajra nature, vajra knot tightly bound, never wavering, eternally abiding.' Then the protection of longevity: Again, in an instant, visualize the disciple appearing as Amitayus, at the gate of the eyebrow chakra, Hayagriva holding a curved knife and skull cup, terrifying in appearance, residing in the midst of burning flames, protecting all obstacles. Recite: 'At the gate of the eyebrow chakra, Hayagriva, the wrathful king, with unbearable splendor, protects all obstacles to longevity.'
