To those powerful deities and demons who dwell on the red bird, in short, who rule the sun in the west, and belong to the element of iron: Please accept the transformation of curses and offerings dedicated to the living and dead patrons, people, and wealth, and grant the activities of wealth, merit, and life as solid as iron. ཧོ། This five-part offering of the Gnod-sbyin (Yaksa) is offered to: those who dwell in the kingdom of U-chu, the small kingdoms, the Par-kha (eight trigrams), and the two Sme-ba (nine magic squares) of black and blue, who reside in the years, months, days, and times of the rat and pig, who reside on Monday and Wednesday, who reside on the six stars of the North Star, and who reside on the great Gnyan (powerful spirit) Ru-sbal Gya-bo. Thus, the Torma (sacrificial cake) is offered to the five directions of the four cardinal points and the center. Then, holding gold drink, Tsampa (roasted barley flour), blue barley, the essence of food and drink, crystal, and iron in hand, make offerings, request acceptance, and pay the land price, saying: Namo! Homage to the Lord of all essences, the quintessence of all instructions, the root of all wisdom, the noble Manjushri (妙吉祥)! I offer with the essence of pure nectar, please listen and remember. To the worldly goddess Namgyalma (尊胜佛母) and her retinue of seven goddesses, I offer the essence of pure nectar, please listen and remember. By the actions of an old farmer, in the three months of spring, miracles are displayed; in the three months of summer, rain sprinkles; in the three months of autumn, fruits ripen. The brother is the great increasing one from China; the sister is the goddess of the seven grains.
