Exhausted. (If) the person walking on the path to Bodhi loses his way, and the auspicious seedlings are destroyed by hail, if fear arises, do this: diligently practice the instructions in a proper manner. Alas! Furthermore, release the suppression, untie the bonds, cut the ties, perform the empowerment of speech, increase the power of mantras, restore the heat of recitation, infuse power into the teeth, place a razor on the tongue, and apply poison to the lips, there are nine methods in total. First, take a poisonous paper about a span high, draw a vajra cross and a stupa on the front and back, wrap it with five-colored silk threads, and wear it on the crown of your head. Submerge yourself in the darkness deep underground, in order to be liberated from the suppression of the iron cross and Mount Meru, pray with sincere faith to all the gurus, yidams, and dakinis, and especially visualize yourself as Vajrasattva. Recite this a million times, increase the power of wisdom, thinking of taking it out from underground, lifting the suppressed object, untying the object on the crown of your head, and pressing it under your bed. Visualize your body as a palace like Mount Meru, and visualize your consciousness as a bright Vajrasattva. Suppress the haunting demons, harmful spirits, and the malice of others underneath, thinking that there is no chance of liberation. This is the sign that you are being suppressed, such as falling into the depths of a rock cave, the abyss of the earth, or being suppressed under a mountain and a stupa, or entering an empty, doorless house, being covered by a black cloth, etc. If these omens and illusions appear, do this, and you will be liberated from all suppression. Alas! Second, if there are signs that the three doors are bound, the body develops various diseases, speech is impaired, and symptoms such as stuttering and dumbness appear, the mind is dull, meditation is unclear, and sinking occurs, as well as related dreams, then visualize yourself as the Wrathful Lotus King (Krodha Padmapani Heruka), with three faces, the right face white, the left face red, and the middle face red, the three right hands holding a lotus, a khatvanga, and a staff, the three left hands holding a bell, a skull cup filled with blood, and a small drum, in a wrathful posture, wearing the decorations of the charnel ground on the body, standing on the sun and moon cushions with four feet in a dancing posture, invite the wisdom deity, and perform hooking, merging, and mixing. Like this, from the clear visualization of the body, flames of wisdom blaze like the fire at the end of the kalpa, visualize burning the demons and protectors who bind you together, recite this mantra a million times.
