This concise text was written by Gyurme Dorje (འགྱུར་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེ, Immovable Vajra) for the benefit of those who practice the Dharma. ༈ From 'Subjugating the Arrogant Yama,' the invocation of the treasure protector is as follows: Homage to the slayer of Yama! Having extracted this profound treasure, when teaching, propagating, and practicing it, if the treasure protector is not propitiated, the yogi's life will be in imminent danger. Therefore, one should diligently engage in this. Sprinkle with torma and the essence of flesh and blood, and transform it into nectar with the three-syllable mantra. Hūṃ! Obeisant to the command of Guru Padmasambhava (པདྨ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་, Padma Thotreng), the master of profound treasures! King of war gods, possessor of miraculous powers! Oath-bound holy being, master of Thigle Tsal (ཐིག་ལེ་རྩལ)! Retinue of obeisants, come to this place to protect the teachings! Tri Vajra Sādhu Samāja! Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ! Hūṃ! Filling the expanse of the three thousand worlds, Outer, inner, secret, and Suchness (དེ་ཁོ་ན, de kho na, Sanskrit: तथाता, tathātā, literally: thusness) Medicines, blood, offerings, tormas, and so forth, Inconceivable enjoyments of all that is needed, I offer to the oath-bound retinue, Enjoy with delight and accomplish activities! Mahā Pañca Baliṃta Khāhi! Hūṃ! For the sake of protecting the teachings, from the unborn (སྐྱེ་མེད, kye may, Sanskrit: अजात, ajāta, literally: unborn) of Dharmadhatu (དབྱིངས་ལས, ying lay), the oath-bound one who arises with compassion! King of existence, Dorje Lekpa (རྡོ་རྗེ་ལེགས, Dorje Lek)! One face, two arms, reddish-brown, Wearing a red silk cloak, adorned with wrathful ornaments! The right hand vajra destroys the enemy forces, The left hand holds the heart of the oath-breaker! Riding a powerful lion as a mount, Surrounded by three hundred and sixty attendants! I prostrate and praise the powerful protector of the teachings, Accept this offering of oath substances, Protect the teachings of the Three Jewels! Liberate the malevolent enemies and obstructors into the Dharmadhatu, Accomplish the entrusted activities! Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Khatam! Invoked by Padma Garwang Gyurme Dorje Tsal (པདྨ་གར་དབང་འགྱུར་མེད་རྡོ་རྗེ་རྩལ) from the northern slope of Yarlung Shelphuk (ཡར་ཀླུངས་ཤེལ་ཕུག), from the cliff face resembling a victory banner. ༈ The invocation of Draktsen, the Butcher of Life—Spontaneous Fulfillment of Wishes: Homage to Padmasambhava, the holder of the secrets of all Buddhas! To please him, I will now expound the sky treasury, the chief of the protectors of his profound treasures. In a clean place, prepare tormas, golden libations, tsampa, and other offerings that correspond to the support objects, and after completing one's own yoga recitation, cleanse the individual offerings.
