Furthermore, various auspicious signs will appear. If you wish to perform offerings through retreat practice, then arrange the mandala, vases, etc., as described below, as well as whatever offerings and tormas you can afford. First, proceed with the self-generation deity practice and recitation, then focus on the generation and recitation of the front vase. At the end of each session, offer the torma. There is no need to invite or dismiss the torma guests. Perform offerings and praises, pray for the fulfillment of wishes, confess misdeeds, request permanence, and recite aspiration prayers and auspicious verses in each session. When the retreat is completed after seven days or so, receive the empowerment in the manner of self-entry, and then perform the subsequent rituals. The procedure for accepting disciples through this method is as follows: The mandala can be a complete peaceful mandala with doors, or a common mandala. In the center of the mandala, draw an eight-petaled multicolored lotus, surrounded by twenty-one Taras and one hundred and eight Taras in sequence. In the center of the lotus, draw a green Utpala flower (Tibetan: ཨུཏྤལ་ལྗང་གུ, Sanskrit Devanagari: उत्पल जङ्गगु, Sanskrit Romanization: utpala jaṅggu, meaning: green lotus). On each petal, draw a green bindu. If there is no painted thangka, you can also use a mandala plate, piling up white grains in the center of the mandala plate to represent the same number of deities as mentioned above, and then place twenty-five vases filled with essence on a small throne on top of the grains, with green neck ornaments and decorative tops. Behind the vases, place a white, round, decorated empowerment torma with a torma umbrella. Also, place the body images (Tibetan: སྐུ་ཙཀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: कुक, Sanskrit Romanization: kuka, meaning: body image), rosaries, and chaklis of green Utpala flowers as hand symbols on either the left or right side as convenient. In front, arrange tormas coated with the three white offerings (milk, yogurt, and butter), as well as two water offerings and right-spiraling offerings. Prepare the necessary implements such as the activity vase. Starting from the lineage prayer and the preliminary torma, perform the self-generation deity practice and recitation. Then redo the offerings and bless the offerings. Cleanse the mandala in front with the activity mantra, and purify with the svabhava mantra. Visualize the mandala in front as invisible and in a state of emptiness. From the realization of emptiness arising, up to the praise. Visualize the heart of the deity generated in front, and perform the recitation with absorption and integration, reciting as much as possible. Then redo the offerings and bless them with just the mantra. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning) From 'Precious vase, in the center of perfect qualities, on a lotus moon seat, the seed syllable ཏཱཾ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, meaning) green,' etc., up to the praise, generate the deity in the vase. Take the blessing cord and recite the ten-syllable mantra of common visualization. As mentioned above, perform the torma offering and prayers, as well as offerings and praises. Offer conch water to the vase with OM AH HUM. Visualize the deities dissolving into light and becoming one with the water in the vase. In the activity vase, clearly visualize Hayagriva or a nectar vortex, and recite the heart mantra. If you can perform self-entry, that is best, but if not, receive the samaya empowerment and request permission to introduce disciples. Then bathe the disciples. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Sā bya, perform the offering and command of dispelling obstacles, and meditate on the protective wheel. Clarify the generation of Bodhicitta. Regarding the distinction of teaching the Dharma: All the Buddhas of the three times, past, present, and future, along with their retinues, in order to accomplish all activities and to save all sentient beings pervading the sky from all fears and sufferings. With her incomparable power of compassion and wisdom, the melodious sound of the name 'Swift and Courageous Tārā' pervades countless Buddha-fields. The lineage and teachings of the venerable holy Tārā have spread immeasurably in both India and Tibet. Here, what is relevant is that the emanation of Avalokiteśvara (Mgon-po 'od dpag med), the great master of Orgyen, Padmasambhava, while diligently practicing the profound path of the heart essence in the Māratika cave in eastern India. The venerable Tārā herself appeared and extensively bestowed the order of tantras, transmissions, and instructions. From these, the essence was extracted and established in the form of extensive, intermediate, and concise instructions, which were granted to the fortunate Tibetan king and subjects. For the benefit of future disciples, they were expanded into three treasures, of which the intermediate one, the Tārā Utpala cycle, was brought forth from Monyi Chumo Phuk, blessed by the emanation of Gyalwa Chokyang, Tso-gyal, and the ordained monk, Vajradhara, Tshe-ten Gyaltsen. The extensive cycle was hidden in the seventh treasure site of Shang Zab Bu Lung, and it was said that it would be discovered by a reincarnation of a Dharma king, which seems to be the treasure of Je Lama, but it was not actually taken. When he went there in the eleventh month of the Water Tiger year at the age of twenty-four, he bestowed the Vajra verses of the mind treasure. In the first month of the Fire Rabbit year, when he was together with Chokgyur Lingpa, he saw a special Tārā statue that came from the treasure. The statue bestowed three breaths of 'Excellent!' as a blessing, and the profound essence of the mind treasure Tārā was established, which also belongs to this lineage. The concise one, Tārā Who Saves from All Fears (sgrol ma 'jigs pa kun skyob), was hidden in Tsang O-yuk Yak-der, as it is said: 'This treasure hidden in O-yuk Yak-der will appear with the sign of the one who will extract it. The treasure revealer will be known as Yak-kyar Ngönmo.' It is prophesied that the emanation of the great translator Vairochana will be born near the treasure site in the fourth Rabjung. That place is called Stong-dur, which belongs to the branch of Yak-tse-tra. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
