Nourish with drops of ghee from the ladle, and recite 'Om Vajrasattva Ah (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ཨཱཿ)', without damaging the roots of the kusha grass. This kusha grass is pure and virtuous, purifying the Brahma gods. It pleases the Three Jewels, born from the earth, the essence of the lotus. May it pacify all my obstacles and bring peace and auspiciousness. At the edge of the hearth, starting from your left, place two bunches with the tips pointing east, the tips of the back ones pressed down by the roots, one pair on each side, arranged clockwise. Again, place a bunch with the tips pointing east at the edge of the hearth. Second, offering to the worldly fire god: Purify the hearth with 'Sumbhani', purify with 'Svabhava'. From emptiness, from the syllable 'Hūṃ' arises a peaceful hearth, round and white, complete with all characteristics. In the center, on a lotus and moon seat, the syllable 'Raṃ' completely transforms into the peaceful white fire god, with one face and four arms. The two right hands hold a staff and a rosary, the two left hands hold a pill and grant refuge. He has the appearance of a sage, surrounded by many attendants. At the crown of his head is 'Oṃ', at his throat is 'Āḥ', and at his heart is 'Hūṃ'. From the syllable 'Hūṃ' emanates light, inviting the wisdom fire god and his retinue. With the right hand in the fearless mudra, press the thumb at the base of the index finger and wave, reciting: 'Om, come here, come here, great being! King of the fire gods, supreme sage! For the sake of receiving the burnt offerings, please come to this burning place! Om Agnaye Akarshaya Jha (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨགྣ་ཡེ་ཨཱ་ཀཪྵ་ཡ་ཛཿ)'. After inviting, dispel the obstructing forces with mantras such as 'Om Sumbhani'. Offer the water for washing the feet with 'Om Agnaye sapariwara argham pratitsa svaha Similarly, offer water for washing the feet with 'Padyam'. Establish the samaya with 'Om Agnaye samaya tvam Jah Hum Bam Hoh (藏文:ཛཿ ཧཱུྃ་བྃ་ཧོཿ), become inseparable from the samaya being. Then, visualize the fire god slightly smiling, with the syllable 'Raṃ' on both the tongue and the mouth of the ladle. Holding the kapala filled with supreme bodhichitta, recite 'Om Agnaye Svaha (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨགྣ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།)' seven times. Fill the ladle with seven ladles of ghee, and offer the nectar of pure ghee dripping from the spout of the ladle, visualizing the fire god being pleased and satisfied. With the kapala facing downwards, do not go beyond the knees, rotate clockwise, reciting: 'Om Agnaye Dibya Dibya Vishuddhe Maha Shriye Ha Bhya Ka Bhya Baha Naya Hum Phet Svaha Pray that all sins, obscurations, obstacles, and unfavorable conditions that exceed life be pacified, and that peaceful activities be accomplished.' Offer three times, and observe the signs of the fire. If bad signs appear, purify with mantras and vase water. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, recite: 'Om Agnaye sapariwara argham pratitsa svaha,' and in the same way, offer by adding sound. Om! Glory to the great fire god! Giver of all desires! May you reside in the place of accomplishing the benefit of self and others! Praise to the holder, the fire god!' After praising, offer the combustibles, first the Yam wood, reciting: 'Om bodhi brikshaya svaha.' After this, add: 'All the sins and obscurations of the deceased (name), pacify! Svaha.' Similarly, add according to category: ghee, reciting: 'Om Agnaye svaha'; sesame, reciting: 'Om sarva papam dahana vajraya svaha'; yogurt, reciting: 'Om sarva sambade svaha'; rice, reciting: 'Om vajra pushtaya svaha'; soybeans, reciting: 'Om vajra bijaya svaha'; barley, reciting: 'Om maha vegaya svaha'; beans, reciting: 'Om maha balaya svaha'; wheat, reciting: 'Om vajra ghasmari svaha'; durva grass, reciting: 'Om vajra ayushe svaha'; kusha grass, reciting: 'Om apratihata vajraya svaha.' Offer seven or twenty-one of each of the above offerings. At the end of each mantra, add: 'All the sins and obscurations of the deceased (name), pacify! Svaha,' and offer in this way. Furthermore, any combustibles that can be obtained, offer only with the mantra 'Om Agnaye dibya.' Then, scatter white mustard seeds into the fire, and pray that the great sage and his retinue offer the combustibles into the mouth of the deity, and bless the fire as the fire of wisdom, praying that it pacifies all the sins and obscurations of the deceased. Pray in this way, and offer ghee with a ladle, visualizing: 'Om vajra jvala ram,' the fire god appearing in a burning form. Third, offering to the transcendent fire god: Purify with 'Sumbhani,' cleanse with 'Svabhava.' From emptiness, in the center of the fire altar, within the vajra protection wheel, bound in an indivisible manner, within which, in the center of the eight-petaled lotus surrounding the eight great charnel grounds, there is a triangular dharma origin, double-layered, with joy swirling at the corners, the inner lotus has four petals, surrounded by a string of stamens, including the lotus heart. In its center, on top of the lotus and sun disc, there is a blazing dark blue 'Ah' syllable, from which rays of light radiate, and so on. The swastikas on the ribs are transformed into the nature of the six armor goddesses.' After this, at the top of all these, visualize the wheel of the Three Refuges, the totality of everything, the root guru Heruka in the form of father and mother residing. In short, visualize the body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas, the nature of the inexhaustible wheel of adornment, the co-emergent bliss, the nature of self-awareness, the three realms --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
