O you who are bound by the karma and obscurations, I pray that you lead me from the suffering of endless samsara to the realm of great bliss. The fears of Bardo, the perilous path of Yama, with compassionate heart, please protect those beings who wander in terrifying places and are tormented by afflictions. Recite this three times to lead them to take refuge. Eighth, Empowerment: From the entry into the mandala to the offering of gratitude after the granting of permission, perform according to the empowerment ritual. Ninth, Offering Food: Visualize the deceased having faith in the deity being practiced, purify the sins through empowerment, and manifest as the body of Vajrakrodhi. Purify the food, drinks, clothing, shoes, and other suitable offerings with རྃ་ཡྃ་ཁྃ་ (Tibetan, None, None, Purification). Visualize the piles of offerings as inexhaustible, filling the sky. Recite: Nama sarva tathagatebhyo vishva mukhebhya sarvatha kham udgate spharana imam gagana kham svaha (Sanskrit Romanization). Bless with this sky treasury mantra. Visualize: All forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and touches in all directions and times, which satisfy the senses, are offered to you who have attained the state of Vajrakrodhi. May you always be satisfied with uncontaminated bliss. Recite: Om Vajra Bhara He Krodhi Kali Pancha Kama Guna Pratitsa Hum Svaha. Or just recite this mantra. If you want to be more detailed, you can also offer the five desirable qualities separately. Tenth, Advice not to be attached to Samsara: Listen, deceased son of noble family! There is no happiness in the six realms. Do not be attached to suffering, do not be distracted, hold on with single-pointed mindfulness. Eleventh, Showing the Path: In the pure land of Ogmin Dharmadhatu, the Blessed Vajrakrodhi resides. In the sky of non-dual union, go with the skill of your own awareness. Twelfth, Purifying the Grounds and Paths: By the blessing of the truth of the Three Jewels, and by the power of the deity and the essence of the mudra, may you attain the five paths and ten bhumis in an instant without obstruction. Just as a lotus is not stained by mud, may you not be stained by the defilements of the three realms, may you be born from a lotus in existence, and may you be born in Sukhavati. Visualize the consciousness of the deceased in the form of the letter A (Tibetan, अ, a, None) leaving from the crown of the head, going to the pure land of Ogmin, merging into the heart of the Blessed Vajrakrodhi, becoming non-dual. Thirteenth, Burning the Ransom Note: Visualize that the wisdom light emanates from the hearts of all the deities in the mandala, purifying the aggregates, sense bases, and elements of the deceased, and all the dharmas of samsara, into the realm of the unconditioned, primordial purity. Recite the root mantra Om Vajra Bhara He, etc., three times, and light the fire. Hum! In the furnace of the Dharmadhatu, the self-grasping --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the firewood of the skandhas, ignite the fire of wisdom, burning away the past afflictions and habitual tendencies. This is the aspiration of birth and death, a fire without a place or sign. This is the self-arising fire of wisdom, burning away the thoughts of self-grasping and signs. In reality, the object to be burned and the burner, all are effortlessly enlightened. The spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya, the self-arising wisdom appears there. ཨགྣེ་ཛྭ་ལ་རཾ། (Tibetan) Agne jvala ram (Sanskrit Devanagari) Agne jvala ram (Sanskrit Roman transliteration) Fire, flame, seed syllable. Transforming the contaminated skandhas into the uncontaminated, form is emptiness, emptiness is form. Form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form. Sensation, perception, mental formations, and consciousness are also the same, all are emptiness. Shariputra, therefore, all dharmas are emptiness, without characteristics, unborn, unceasing, without impurity, without separation from impurity, without decrease, without increase. Shariputra, therefore, in emptiness there is no form, no sensation, no perception, no mental formations, no consciousness, no eye, no ear, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind, no form, no sound, no smell, no taste, no touch, no dharma. There is no eye realm, up to no consciousness realm. There is no ignorance, nor the exhaustion of ignorance, up to no old age and death, nor the exhaustion of old age and death. Likewise, there is no suffering, no origin, no cessation, no path, no wisdom, no attainment, and no non-attainment. Shariputra, therefore, because Bodhisattvas have nothing to attain, they rely on the Prajnaparamita, their minds are without hindrance, without fear, far beyond distorted dreams, and ultimately reach Nirvana. All Buddhas of the three times also rely on this Prajnaparamita to attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi. It would be good to also recite this sutra. Taking cremation as an example, the signs of purification are known by the signs of fire, as stated in the 'Purification Tantra': The sign of destroying sins is that it is white and burns to the right, burns upwards and is without impurity, is round and does not spread, is stable like lightning and without impurity. Or, the fire god himself will appear, as white as a spotless moon, with a beautiful face and shining brightly. With these signs, one can know that the evil realms such as hell have been purified. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
