Sprinkle mustard seeds and sand blessed with the purifying dharani mantras. After wiping, pour the bathwater back into the vase and wash the nameplate and other supports. Recite: Pure and clear water of the gods, Delightful and fragrant Ganges stream, With the water of the mudra wisdom vase, May the obscurations of the deceased be purified. Recite the root mantra: 'Om Vajra Bharaha Krodhi Kali Harini Sa Abhe Saya,' and 'Om Vajra Dakini Samaya Manu Palaya,' etc. Recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra and other mantras while washing. The elements wash separately, this earth is the father of poison, this earth is also the mother of poison. By the blessings of Buddhalocana (Buddha Eye Mother), may the deceased be without poison! This water is the father of poison, this water is also the mother of poison. By the blessings of Mamaki, may the deceased be without poison!
