ROH! ĀḤ ĀḤ ĀḤ Abhiṣiñca ĀḤ! Just as Manshel is clearly visible without covering, so too, may you understand the source of all things from the unbiased expanse of the basis of reality. Light the candle and recite: Oṃ! The basis, meaning, meditator, and object of meditation are devoid of existence, naturally clear, without grasping. In the state of original radiance, the path of clear emptiness is meditated upon and empowered. Oṃ Oṃ Oṃ Abhiṣiñca Oṃ! Just as the candle itself, even without assembled conditions, appears clearly beyond the mind, so too, no matter how intense the entrances of the six aggregates, may you understand the symbolic meaning of self-illuminating awareness. Show the mirror and recite: Hūṃ! Ultimate practice is without rejection or establishment. All appearances arising within the mirror are free from the dualistic grasping of object and conditions of object. The arising of practice is the empowerment of liberation. Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ! Even though many different images may appear within the mirror, the mirror itself has no grasping, and the images themselves have no grasping. Similarly, even though many entrances may appear from the expanse of awareness, awareness itself has no clinging, and the appearing entrances have no clinging or attachment; may you understand this as the symbol of liberation. Show the peacock feather and recite: Hrīḥ! Awareness possesses the essence of wisdom, is universally vast, uncompounded, self-born, self-abiding, self-illuminating. Introduce the symbolic meaning and bestow empowerment. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ Abhiṣiñca Hrīḥ! The five-colored radiance of this peacock feather is not made, but arises naturally, abides in self-liberation, and is clear and pure in itself. Similarly, in the expanse of self-awareness, the five wisdoms arise naturally, self-illuminating and abiding within itself. May you realize that the five bodies and five wisdoms, etc., are self-awareness. Once realized in this way, there is no need to strive separately for the result, for the deathless, unborn wisdom vajra life is accomplished. By introducing the symbolic meaning of this very nature and bestowing empowerment, may the defilements of mind and intellect be purified, may the meaning of the basis, path, and result be understood, may confidence in view, meditation, and action be possessed, may one reach the state of non-duality with Kuntuzangpo, may the fruit of the Dharmakaya be attained, and may one have the power to perform wrathful actions and the offering of union and liberation. In gratitude for receiving the fourth meaning empowerment, considering the lama as the Dharmakaya, offer a mandala. Then, holding the longevity symbols—the torma vase and arrow banner—recite: Hūṃ Hrīḥ! The victory banner of life that does not diminish through generation, the vajra chain that cannot be separated through binding, the unshakable Mount Meru through stability, possessing the splendor of the three realms without fabrication.
