Recite 'ཨཱ་ཡུཿཔུཎྱེ་སརྦ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ༔' (Tibetan, Devanagari, āyuḥpuṇye sarvasiddhi hūṃ, longevity, merit, all accomplishments, hūṃ) and touch the five places. Gather the essence of longevity from the outer world and inner beings, and infuse it into the five places of the body. Visualize the essence of the five elements dissolving into the five aggregates, thereby transforming into an indestructible vajra body. Then, holding the eight auspicious symbols, the eight emblems, the seven treasures, etc., recite 'ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི༔' (Tibetan, Devanagari, hūṃ hrīḥ, seed syllable, Padmasambhava's heart mantra). Infuse the imperishable victory banner into the crown of the head; infuse the longevity essence of the lotus into the mouth; infuse the unobstructed white conch shell, the longevity essence of speech, into the center of the throat; infuse the immortal and deathless glorious knot, the longevity essence, into the heart; infuse the immortal vajra golden fish, the longevity essence, into the center of the life force channel; infuse the inseparable vase, the longevity essence, into the center of the life force channel; infuse the unchanging Yungdrung umbrella, the longevity essence, into the forehead; infuse the irreversible vajra wheel, the longevity essence, into the soles of the feet. May all the diminished lifespans of the fortunate sons and daughters be restored. 'བཛྲ་ཨཱ་ཡུརྫྙཱ་ན་སརྦ་ཏིཥྛ་ལྷན༔' (Tibetan, Devanagari, vajra āyurjñāna sarvatiṣṭha lhan, vajra, longevity, wisdom, all, abide, lotus) Place these on the various parts of the body. Like a magnet attracting iron filings, gather all the wealth, longevity, merit, splendor, majesty, and auspiciousness of the world through the auspicious objects, and infuse them into oneself, contemplating that one is filled with all goodness. Then, holding the longevity pill, alcohol, and arrow banner, recite 'ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི༔' (Tibetan, Devanagari, hūṃ hrīḥ, seed syllable, Padmasambhava's heart mantra). If longevity is diminished in the earth, infuse it into food; if diminished in water, infuse it into alcohol; if diminished on stone, infuse it into a vessel; if diminished in fire, infuse it into warmth; if diminished in wood, infuse it into an arrow; if diminished in bone, infuse it into an arrowhead; if diminished in wind, infuse it into a feather; if diminished in splendor, infuse it into silk. May all the diminished lifespans of this fortunate son be restored. 'བཛྲ་ཨཱ་ཡུརྫྙཱ་ན་སརྦ་སིདྡྷི་ཕ་ལ་ཧཱུྃ༔' (Tibetan, Devanagari, vajra āyurjñāna sarvasiddhi phala hūṃ, vajra, longevity, wisdom, all accomplishments, fruit, hūṃ). By partaking of the longevity pill and longevity alcohol in this way, contemplate that the essence of the outer world and inner beings dissolves into the body. Then, hold the arrow banner upright in front of the heart, and recite 'ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི༔' (Tibetan, Devanagari, hūṃ hrīḥ, seed syllable, Padmasambhava's heart mantra). Extend the silk with the mudra of the bamboo arrow's body; shoot upwards with the mudra of the arrow feather's speech; hold firmly with the mudra of the arrowhead's mind; bestow blessings with the mudra of the colored silk's qualities; adorned with a mirror possessing five wisdoms; the signs of longevity and activity gather here; we pray for the bestowal of the accomplishment of immortal life. 'ཨོཾ་རུ་རུ་སྥུ་རུ་ཛྭ་ལ་ཏིཥྛ་སིདྡྷི་ལོ་ཙ་ནི་སརྦ་ཨརྠ་སཱ་དྷ་བཛྲ་ཨཱ་ཡུ་ཥེ་ཨ་ཨཱ༔' (Tibetan, Devanagari, oṃ ruru sphuru jvala tiṣṭha siddhi locani sarvārtha sādha vajra āyuṣe a ā, Om, light, shine, blaze, abide, accomplishment, eye, all meaning, accomplish, vajra, longevity, Ah Ah). Through the life-root empowerment of the arrow banner, contemplate that the entire central channel is filled with the light of five pure wisdoms. Blessed by the auspicious goddesses, May this complete set of the eight auspicious symbols, Be accomplished as gods and goddesses in the eight assemblies! Blessed by Samantabhadra, Father and Mother, May this spontaneously accomplished mind-jewel, Be accomplished in unborn wisdom! Blessed by the five Buddha families, May these symbols appearing in five forms, Be accomplished as the immortal vajra body! Blessed by the Bodhisattvas of the three times, May this appearing as the supreme body, speech, and mind, Be accomplished like the unchanging Yungdrung! Blessed by the great expanse of the Dharmakaya, May this appearing as the unborn Bodhicitta, Be accomplished like the indestructible victory banner!
