May I have the power to do so! Just as the king of gods, Indra, offered to the eight auspicious goddesses after winning the battle with the Asuras, I offer the eight auspicious substances to the Medicine Buddha and the Vidyadharas. Adorn the mandala of the Medicine Buddha with excellent banners, parasols, and standards, as well as fluttering victory banners and flags that defeat the armies of demons, and the sounds of offerings such as dance and music. Om Maha Bhaisajye Saparivara Sarva Pratitsa Puja Megha Samudra Spharana Samaya Ah Hum. From the syllable Bhrum (Bhrūṃ, seed syllable), transform the torma into a precious vessel, filled with the three whites (milk, yogurt, butter) and three sweets (honey, brown sugar, rock sugar) like an ocean of nectar. May the deities transform their tongues into channels of light, drawing the torma into nectar and consuming it. May the powders, pills, and decoctions that I prepare all transform into nectar that cures diseases and grants immortality, and may you grant me the accomplishment of medicine. When I diagnose diseases through observation, touch, and questioning, please reveal the names of the diseases to me. When I gather medicinal ingredients, please reveal the methods of gathering to me. If, due to the heavy obscurations of past karma, I do not have the fortune to receive your direct guidance, please let the names of the diseases and effective treatments arise in my mind. Please bless the medicines that I prepare so that they are not stolen by evil spirits or altered by external conditions, and may they be effective in treating diseases. Please dispel the fear of untimely death from all the patients I treat, and may their bodies be strong and their youth be renewed. Even if their lifespan is exhausted and their time has come, may they, through my observation, touch, and tasting of the medicine, remember the Bhagavan Medicine Buddha, close the doors to the evil realms, obtain a body in a good realm, and ultimately attain enlightenment. With wisdom and skillful means, you eliminate the poverty of beings, Reversing the wrong path, leading them onto the path of enlightenment, Possessing the three vows, establishing the undiminished precepts. Showing the path of liberation, I prostrate and praise you! Eliminating the defects of the senses, deafness, blindness, lameness, and paralysis, Pacifying all the diseases of those without protectors, Bringing the female body to an end, Becoming the protector of the unprotected, I prostrate and praise you! Eliminating all wrong views, establishing right view, Releasing the bonds, beatings, and executions of the king's punishments, Eliminating the suffering of hunger and thirst, bestowing food, Effortlessly granting fine clothes, I prostrate and praise you! Although one may fall into the realm of hungry ghosts due to the power of miserliness, Hearing your name in the past, one is quickly liberated, Remembering past lives, practicing the perfection of generosity. Possessing the treasure of merit, I prostrate and praise you! Although one may fall into hell due to violating moral discipline, Hearing your name in the past, one is quickly liberated, Becoming a Bodhisattva possessing pure moral discipline. Eliminating all faults, I prostrate and praise you! Although one may be born in a lower realm due to jealousy and harsh words, Hearing your name, one is quickly liberated, Possessing great wisdom, comprehending all dharmas, Dispelling the darkness of ignorance, I prostrate and praise you! Even if others harm life with sorcery, spirits, and curses, Using the power of spells and incantations, Hearing your name, the harm and suffering are pacified. Donning the armor of loving-kindness, I prostrate and praise you! The healing sage Serkya (ser skya, yellowish), And the sage Tsa Raka Ni (tsa ra ka ni, whitish-yellow), The sage with the leopard form (gzig gzugs can ni, reddish-yellow), The sage Zhungkyé (gzhung skyes, bluish-yellow). All holding the victorious nectar-filled begging bowl, I prostrate and praise those who hold the attire of sages! The four medicine goddesses are graceful and smiling, Holding the essence of medicine, the nectar vase, in their hands, Adorned with silk and precious jewels, sitting in a semi-lotus posture. I prostrate and praise the four who show clear vision! Furthermore, there are hundreds of thousands of Medicine Buddha sages, Hundreds of thousands of billions of nectar medicine goddesses, Holders of medicine knowledge, gods, nagas, humans, and so on, I respectfully praise them together with their retinues and attendants! Granting clear vision, clairvoyance, oral transmission, Clearly revealing pulse diagnosis, urine analysis, And the accomplishment of transforming medicines into nectar.
