Visualize yourself instantly transforming into red Hayagriva (Horse-Necked One), holding a staff and rope, grasping the mantra cord. In the name vase, recite the long and short mantras and the six-syllable mantra. In the action vase, recite 'Om Hayagriva Hum'. Finally, perform offerings and praises, visualizing the deity dissolving into light, transforming into the water in the vase. Thus, after the activities of the master are completed, the disciples bathe. Perform the preliminary offering of the torma and dispel obstacles. When the Vajra Acharya has finished scattering and collecting flowers, he says: 'For the benefit of all sentient beings equal to the sky, may we attain the state of perfect Buddhahood. For this purpose, listen to the profound Dharma with the intention of generating Bodhicitta (the mind of enlightenment), and clearly establish the code of conduct for listening to the Dharma as stated in the sutras and tantras. The Dharma to be listened to here is...' Thus, explain the reason for listening to the Dharma and the history of the lineage, etc., in detail or briefly as appropriate. Now is the time to practice the Anujna (permission/authorization) of the Eleven-Faced Avalokiteśvara according to the Shalu tradition transmitted by the scholar Dharmashri. There are three parts to it, the first being the activities of the Vajra Master, first generating oneself as the deity, then performing the generation of the deity in front, offering praises and torma, and practicing the vase. After these are successfully completed, now is the second part, the disciples offer a mandala to the presence of the Lama and Yidam (personal deity), who are inseparable, as a fee for receiving the profound Anujna.' Thus, he instructs the disciples to offer the mandala. After offering the mandala in this way, with palms together holding flowers, recite the prayer, please repeat after me: 'All Buddhas of the three times, the essence of the supreme Yidam, by the grace of the glorious Lama, please grant me Anujna.' Recite three times. Then, in order to purify the lineage, in front of the deity generated in front and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas abiding like dense clouds, with refuge in the Three Jewels as the preliminary, generate the thought that I will take the Bodhicitta, please repeat after me: 'I take refuge in the Three Jewels.' Etc., recite three times. The third part is the activities of both the master and the disciples, divided into two parts, first, in order to lay the foundation for the Anujna, please visualize as follows: Recite 'Om Svabhava Shuddhah Sarva Dharma Svabhava Shuddho 'Ham' (藏文:ཨོཾ་སྭ་བྷཱ་བ་ཤུདྡྷཿསརྦ་དྷརྨཱཿསྭ་བྷཱ་བ་ཤུདྡྷོ྅ཧཾ།,梵文天城体:ओंसवभावशुद्धःसर्वधर्माःस्वभावशुद्धोऽहम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ svabhāva śuddhaḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho 'ham,汉语字面意思:嗡,自性清净,一切法,自性清净,我). By reciting this mantra, visualize that all internal and external phenomena, including your skandhas (aggregates), dhatus (elements), and ayatanas (sense bases), are unattainable and become emptiness. From emptiness, 'Pam' (seed syllable) transforms into a lotus, 'Ah' (seed syllable) transforms into a moon disc, on the moon disc is 'Hrih' (seed syllable), the 'Hrih' radiates light, gathers and returns. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
