Visualize that you are directly encountering the mandala of the five oceans of the Lord of the World (another name for Avalokiteśvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion), generating great faith, devotion, and joy. Prostrate from the four directions, and then sit in front, visualizing that you are being bathed by the stream of wisdom nectar, and that all sins, obscurations, and faults are completely purified. Bathe with the activity vase and have them drink. ཧོ༔ The three bodies of the Buddhas wash away impurities with water, the five poisons are purified by bathing, ala la! Just as the Buddhas of the past blessed, may all sins and obscurations be purified! ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི༔ Sarva Shanti Kuru Ye Svaha (Tibetan, Devanagari: सर्व शान्ति कुरु ये स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: sarva śānti kuru ye svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Pacify everything, do this, Svaha). These are the well-accomplished preliminaries of the empowerment. Next, in order, are: the vase empowerment with elaboration, the mantra empowerment without elaboration, the wisdom of prajna, and the introduction to the empowerment of speech. First, relying on the respective empowerment substances such as the vase, visualize receiving the complete empowerment of all the deities of the five oceans mandala of Avalokiteśvara. Hold the vase. ཧོ༔ All dharmas are unattached, free from elaboration and without conditions. Unfabricated, self-luminous, primordially pure nature is empty, Unobstructed compassion, the play of indivisible power.
