With faith, respect, and devotion to the guru and the main deity of the mandala as inseparable, fold your palms together with flowers and supplicate, repeating after me: Hūṃ! In this great mandala of all-pervading compassion, We, the fortunate ones, enter with great reverence, Lord of compassion, Guru, You, Please ripen us and all beings. (Recite three times) After requesting thus, grant permission: Ho! Children with accumulated karma from the past, listen to me! In order to open the door to the most secret and unsurpassed, I will fully bestow the four ripening empowerments Of the assembly of deities of the all-encompassing Great Compassionate One. (Recite three times) In order to purify the lineage, In front of the Bhagavan Great Compassionate One, inseparable from the guru, the mandala of the five families, and the clouds of the three roots radiating, I and all beings as vast as space, until reaching the essence of enlightenment, with unwavering faith, take refuge, abandoning hesitation, repeat after me: Namo! May I liberate all sentient beings who have been my parents from the ocean of suffering samsara and place them in the state of the noble Great Compassionate One, so aspire. And for that purpose, entering this profound and excellent path, may I complete the stages of practice, clearly generating the mind of enlightenment, repeat after me: Namo! I will liberate sentient beings, etc., recite three times. In front of those supreme and sacred fields, prostrate, make offerings, confess sins, etc., accumulate merit and purify obscurations, and with individual definite intentions, dedicate the roots of virtue to the great enlightenment, repeat after me: Guru, Yidam, etc., three times. Then, in order to establish the basis of empowerment and invoke the wisdom beings, please stand up and place your two hands in the dharmodaya mudra on the crown of your head. Close your eyes, do not be distracted, and meditate single-pointedly on this visualization: In the center of your heart, the Great Compassionate One with a sea of yidams. On the crown of your head, Guru Padmasambhava with a sea of siddhas. On the right, Hayagriva, a sea of heroes. On the left, Secret Wisdom Dakini, a sea of heroines. In front and behind, Mahakala, Palden Lhamo, and other Dharma protectors, a sea of oath-bound ones, all these deities, their bodies in dancing postures, the sound of 'Ara Li' reverberating, their minds blessing with the wisdom of enlightenment, visualize clearly and generate faith and devotion.
