Etc., as a basis. Do not do anything other than focusing on the text. In any case, invoking the consciousness is: Om Svabhava, etc. From emptiness, on a lotus and moon seat, from 'Na' (Tibetan: ནྲྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: नृ, Sanskrit Romanization: nṛ, literal Chinese meaning: that), may the aggregates, realms, and sources of the deceased appear as they were in life. Namo! The truthful words of the commands of the venerable root and lineage glorious and holy lamas, and the Three Jewels... The truthful words of the Dharma nature, Dharma characteristics, and infallible cause and effect... By the inconceivable blessings and power of truth of the aspiration and vows of the Bhagavan Protector Amitabha (Buddha of Limitless Light), invoke the consciousness of the deceased into this basis! Recite three times. Set out the demon-repelling torma. Bless with 'A Karo,' and recite 'Om Sarva Bighnan Nama Sarva Tathagate Bhyo,' etc., three times. After three times of 'Om Sumbhani,' add the power of truth. To the demons who obstruct the purification of the deceased's obscurations, offer the torma, take 'Ting' as food, and 'Changbu' as drink, enjoy it and leave! In order not to create obstacles again, protect with 'Vajra Raksha Raksha Hum.' During the bath, hold the vase of nectar and recite: The aspiration of Amitabha, the mind of enlightenment of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the power of truth of Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Arhats, for the benefit of sentient beings, relying on the river of the Six Perfections, may the cause and effect of the five poisons be purified! Om Amitadeva Hrih! Padma Deva Hrih Hum! A Am Arolik! Om Amite, Amitodbhave, Amita Bikrante, Amita Bikrante Gamini, Sarva Karma Klesha Kshayam Kari Svaha! By the blessing of this great mantra, may all sins and evil destinies be pacified, Shanti Kuru Ye Svaha! Recite as much as possible. Purifying poisons with truth: The three, greed, hatred, and ignorance, are the three poisons of the deceased. The Bhagavan Protector has no poison, and the poison is subdued by the truth of the Protector. The four elements, earth, water, fire, and wind, are the parents of poison. By reciting these words of truth, may the three poisons dissolve into the four elements. Recite the root mantra and the subsequent mantra. Words of auspiciousness: By the power of the merit of the Buddhas, and the thoughts of all the gods, whatever your wish may be, may it be accomplished today! May the Buddhas grant you happiness, the gods of Brahma and Indra, and the happiness of all spirits, may it always be bestowed upon you! Recite 'Good day,' etc., and scatter flowers. Then offer food: Offer food with 'Om Akaro,' etc. All beings, abandoning the body of the previous life... Etc., as a basis. Do not do anything other than focusing on the text.
