Oṃ (Ūṃ, seed syllable, body purification, representing body), Amāraṇi (Sanskrit, deathless), Jīvani (Sanskrit, life), ye (Sanskrit particle), Svāhā (Sanskrit, accomplishment)! Oṃ (Ūṃ, seed syllable, body purification, representing body), abhiṣiñca (Sanskrit, consecrate), Hūṃ (Hūṃ, seed syllable, speech purification, representing speech), Ā (Ā, seed syllable, mind purification, representing mind)!’ Recite these, and place the blessed vase on your head. The five Buddha families, fathers and mothers, bestow empowerment, and the goddesses offer worship. Oṃ (Sanskrit, the sound of the universe), Vajra (Sanskrit, diamond), Arghaṃ (Sanskrit, water for drinking), Pādyaṃ (Sanskrit, water for washing feet), Puṣpe (Sanskrit, flower), Dhūpe (Sanskrit, incense), Āloke (Sanskrit, light), Gandhe (Sanskrit, perfume), Naivedya (Sanskrit, food), Śabda (Sanskrit, sound), Pratīccha (Sanskrit, receive), Ā (Ā, seed syllable, mind purification, representing mind), Hūṃ (Hūṃ, seed syllable, speech purification, representing speech)!’ The four doorkeepers sing the Vajra song. Oṃ (Sanskrit, the sound of the universe), Vajra (Sanskrit, diamond), Sattva (Sanskrit, being), Susaṃgraha (Sanskrit, completely seize), Da (Da, seed syllable, generosity)! Oṃ (Sanskrit, the sound of the universe), Vajra (Sanskrit, diamond), Ratna (Sanskrit, jewel), Manuttara (Sanskrit, unsurpassed)! Oṃ (Sanskrit, the sound of the universe), Vajra (Sanskrit, diamond), Dharma (Sanskrit, law), Gāyanī (Sanskrit, singer)! Oṃ (Sanskrit, the sound of the universe), Vajra (Sanskrit, diamond), Karma (Sanskrit, action), Karotrbhave (Sanskrit, actor)! Deva (Sanskrit, god), Śānti (Sanskrit, peace), Krodharāje (Sanskrit, wrathful king)!’ The wrathful deities dispel obstacles: ‘Sarva (Sanskrit, all), Vighnān (Sanskrit, obstacles), Takṛta (Sanskrit, maker), Hūṃ (Hūṃ, seed syllable, speech purification, representing speech), Phaṭ (Sanskrit, destroy)!’ The Bodhisattvas recite auspicious verses: ‘May auspiciousness dwell in the hearts of all beings, may the nature of all beings be supreme, like a mother nurturing her child with boundless joy, may this empowerment be perfectly auspicious today. Supratiṣṭha (Sanskrit, well established), Vajrāye (Sanskrit, diamond), Svāhā (Sanskrit, accomplishment)!’ Visualize the nectar of the vase entering from the crown of the head and tasting it on the tongue. In this way, the stream of nectar from the empowerment vase fills above the eyebrows, the impurities of the body are purified, the vase empowerment is obtained, and the purity of adornment and attire is remembered. Filling above the throat, the impurities of speech are purified, the secret empowerment is obtained, and the purity of the five chakras is remembered. Filling above the heart, the impurities of mind are purified, the wisdom-jnana empowerment is obtained, and the purity of the six senses is remembered. Filling above the soles of the feet, the impurities of the three doors are purified, and the fourth empowerment is obtained. Exhale the remaining nectar upwards, visualizing Amitabha as its head ornament. Then, visualize the five Buddha families of longevity, fathers and mothers, Bodhisattva retinues, wrathful deities, etc., residing in the space in front, merging into oneself, inseparable from oneself, abiding in the unshakable, enlightened, profound and clear, non-dualistic, great bliss state. If you want to repeat the self-entry ritual, you can recite as much of the above as possible. In any case, upon completion, one must keep the samaya vows, and conclude with offering a mandala, offering the body, dedication, aspiration, and auspicious verses. If one can continuously strive, one can eliminate sins and obscurations, purify mantra faults, increase merit, live long and not be afflicted by old age, and generate special samadhi. In short, all adverse conditions will be pacified, all favorable conditions will increase, and one will quickly obtain the supreme longevity empowerment, as well as temporary and ultimate benefits, which are inconceivable, so one must strive to practice. If it is necessary to perform the longevity empowerment for others, it can also be added here, and the ritual is the same as the usual ritual. In any case, finally, dissolve the mandala deities generated in the vase and other guests into the Lama.
