Om(藏文:ོམ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:om,汉语字面意思:唵) Ah(藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:啊) Hum(藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽),the seeds of the six realms, together with their karmic imprints, contemplate purification through the syllable ‘ཐུལ’. Fifth, distinguishing the boundary between samsara and nirvana: the body's postures and various expressions, the voice and speech of language, and the mind's joys, sorrows, loves, hates, etc., should all be carefully observed to find their core essence. If you recognize their illusory nature, relax and abide in a state of non-thought. Sixth, relax the body and mind: sit comfortably, let the body relax naturally, do not speak, and do not follow the thoughts of the past, present, and future, but abide in the original state of non-thought. Seventh, merging into rigpa (awareness), divided into three stages: First, abide in stillness: the body adopts the posture of a Hinayana practitioner, the eyes look down at the tip of the nose, and maintain effortless awareness. If distracted, observe the distractor; if drowsy, awaken it; if scattered, gather the attention; if sinking, uplift it; if dull, dispel it. Second, maintain stability: the body adopts the lotus posture of a Bodhisattva, the eyes look straight ahead, slightly closed. Abide in a state of non-duality between distraction and stillness, cutting off attachment to bliss, clarity, non-thought, and emptiness. Like a snake untying a knot, relax in a state free from antidotes. Finally, achieve liberation: the body makes the vajra dance posture of a wrathful deity, the eyes glare fiercely, and the mouth emits the laughter of a wrathful deity such as ‘Ha(hā) Ha(hā)’, ‘Hi(hī) Hi(hī)’, ‘Hum(hūṃ) Hum(hūṃ)’, ‘Phat(phaṭ) Phat(phaṭ)’, relaxing the body and mind. The mind abides in a state of clear awareness. Samaya (誓言). Second, entering the main practice, divided into four parts: cutting off thoughts, finding the weaknesses of the mind, observing the place of origin, dwelling, and cessation, and reaching final liberation through recognition. First, cut off thoughts: observe the master of body, speech, and mind. Once a thought is discovered, inquire in detail about its essence, color, shape, and location, etc. Second, find the weaknesses of the mind: find where the ‘I’ that clings to ‘I’ is, where does it reside? Find the maker of clinging, destroy the fortress of ego-clinging. Third, observe the place of origin, dwelling, and cessation: when a thought suddenly arises, first observe where it comes from? Where does it dwell in the middle? Where does it go in the end? By inquiring and investigating through various methods, if you recognize that the place of origin is emptiness, the clinging of the dwelling dissolves, and it is purified without support, then you have found the weaknesses of the place of origin, dwelling, and cessation. Fourth, after generating certainty, recognize it, also divided into seven parts: First, recognize that thoughts are the mind: afflictions and ego-clinging and other various thoughts are inseparable from the mind, they all originate from the mind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Be certain that everything merges into the essence. Second, introducing the emptiness of mind: All thoughts, including the creator of thoughts, are inherently without any entity, knowing it to be empty like the sky. Third, introducing the emptiness of appearances: The unobstructed appearance of all things in emptiness, at the moment of appearance, knowing that it has not moved from the state of emptiness. Fourth, introducing the non-duality of appearance and emptiness: All collections of thoughts are inherently empty; the self-luminous radiance of emptiness, unobstructed appearance of all things; knowing that these two are inseparable, free from good and bad, acceptance and rejection. Fifth, introducing self-liberation of non-duality: Good and bad, samsara and nirvana, acceptance and rejection, appearance and emptiness, arising and abiding, etc., all dualistic dharmas are self-liberated in the nature of non-dual equality. Sixth, self-liberation of the five poisons: After such realization, all thoughts of the five poisons are self-liberated like drawing lines on water, and the intention of the five wisdoms is manifested. Seventh, self-liberation of the six consciousnesses: Taking this as an example, whatever thoughts arise in the realm of the six consciousnesses, by placing them in the state of self-awareness, forms appear as emptiness, sounds resonate as emptiness, smells are sensed as emptiness, tastes are experienced as emptiness, tactile sensations are felt as emptiness, and mental cognitions are known as emptiness, all thoughts are self-liberated. Thus, directly pointing to the mind in the present moment, cutting through with a single stroke. The intention of all Buddhas, the meaning of all scriptures, is brought to bear on the single mind, determining that all appearances are inseparable from the mind. As the scripture says: 'Mind itself is the perfect Buddha, do not seek the Buddha elsewhere.' Abiding on the basis of liberation: Thus, in the state of self-liberation, beyond thought, the sound of playing in the Dharmakaya is precisely abiding without distraction on the basis of self-liberation. Thus, on the fundamental basis, cultivating the mind without antidotes, this is the profound instruction of Trekchö, the essential heart drop of Kuntuzangpo Chemchok Heruka. Samaya! Third, studying the completion of the subsequent practice: After such introduction, there is no need to cultivate anything, nor is there any need for even a moment of distraction, in the effortless state of self-awareness, immersing oneself in the continuous yoga practice like a river, obtaining the basis of awareness-emptiness that cuts off the elaborations of the three times, all thoughts self-liberate, wisdom self-arises, playing in the realm of the Dharmakaya. Samaya! Second, the instructions of Tögal have three parts: preliminaries, main practice, and subsequent practice. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
