In accordance with the customs of Oddiyana, blessed by the Three Roots (Guru, Yidam, and Protector), the Dakinis and Dharma Protectors unlocked the seals. As prophesied by the infallible Vajra, the profound seals were opened, and vast deeds for the benefit of beings were performed. This is the lineage of the Treasure Prayer. Thus, this is a teaching tradition with six transmissions. Generally speaking, considering the Dharma cycles of the Eight Great Herukas (Tibetan: བཀའ་བརྒྱད, Wylie: bka' brgyad), all practice sections that arise from treasures are included within the Eight Great Herukas, making them immeasurable. Specifically, all complete practice sections are based on the empowerment of the mandala of the Nine Assemblages, and the transmissions, instructions, and oral teachings of each lord and subject are endless. Among these, the main ones are the five great Treasure Gurus: the Body Treasure—Yang Sang Drek Dul (Tibetan: ཡང་གསང་དྲེགས་འདུལ, Wylie: yang gsang dregs 'dul, 'The Extremely Secret Subduer of Pride'); the Speech Treasure—Rangjung Rangshar (Tibetan: རང་བྱུང་རང་ཤར, Wylie: rang byung rang shar, 'Self-Arisen, Self-Manifested'); the Mind Treasure—Thukyi Melong (Tibetan: ཐུགས་ཀྱི་མེ་ལོང་, Wylie: thugs kyi me long, 'The Mirror of Mind'); the Quality Treasure—Sangwa Yongdzok (Tibetan: གསང་བ་ཡོངས་རྫོགས, Wylie: gsang ba yongs rdzogs, 'Complete Secret'); and the Activity Treasure—Deshek Dupa (Tibetan: བདེ་གཤེགས་འདུས་པ, Wylie: bde gshegs 'dus pa, 'Assembly of the Sugatas'). The most famous of these is the Yongdril Kadü Chökyi Gyatso (Tibetan: ཡོངས་དྲིལ་བཀའ་འདུས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱ་མཚོ, Wylie: yongs dril bka' 'dus chos kyi rgya mtsho, 'The All-Encompassing Ocean of Assembled Teachings'). In this context, the Activity Treasure, like the heart essence, is the cycle of the Eight Great Herukas Deshek Dupa (Tibetan: བཀའ་བརྒྱད་བདེ་གཤེགས་འདུས་པ, Wylie: bka' brgyad bde gshegs 'dus pa, 'Assembly of the Sugatas of the Eight Great Herukas'), which Padmasambhava hid as a treasure in Drakmar Drinzang (Tibetan: བྲག་དམར་མགྲིན་བཟང). Later, the Dakinis moved the treasure gate and placed it behind the statue of Khoting Namnang (Tibetan: མཁོ་མཐིང་རྣམ་སྣང). Then, Chögyal Tsangpa Lhamé Metok (Tibetan: ཆོས་རྒྱལ་ཚངས་པ་ལྷའི་མེ་ཏོག), an emanation of the fully realized body, the common ancestor of all treasure revealers and accomplished ones, the pioneer of the vast ocean of profound treasures, and possessing inconceivable wondrous liberation stories, was invited by Ngadak Nyangral Nyima Özer (Tibetan: མངའ་བདག་ཉང་རལ་ཉི་མ་འོད་ཟེར). The accomplished one, Ngöndrup Kyishal Nga (Tibetan: གྲུབ་ཐོབ་དངོས་གྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཞལ་སྔ་ནས), personally heard the Dharma cycles of the Eight Great Herukas Kama Dzongtrang (Tibetan: བཀའ་བརྒྱད་བཀའ་མ་རྫོངས་འཕྲང), merging the Kama and Treasure traditions into one river, spreading the activity widely and continuously. Among these, there are two types of empowerments: the Great Root Empowerment and the Essence Meaning Empowerment. The present one is the latter. In the Root Empowerment, it is said: 'There are two ways to enter this mandala: the master and the disciples.' The master has already completed what is appropriate, so you disciples should offer the mandala as the price for entering the great mandala. Offer the mandala. As before, connect in a common way and give instructions. Om Chakshu Bandha Waramanaya Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཙཀྵུརྦནྡྷ་ཝ་ར་མ་ཎ་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ༔). Blindfold. Ah Kham Vira Hum (Tibetan: ཨཱ་ཁཾ་ཝཱི་ར་ཧཱུྃ) Offer flowers. With palms together and flowers in hand, pray before the Guru and the main deity of the mandala, who are inseparable. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
