In the palace of five lights, free from bias, the primordial teacher Kunzang Che Mchog Heruka appears as the assembly of the peaceful and wrathful mandala, from which emerge the five general tantras and ten specific tantras, as well as countless individual branch tantras, all as the self-sound of Dharmata. He abides in the state of equanimity, which is the transmission of the Victorious Ones' intention. In the invisible abode of Vidyadharas, the self-power of the primordial protector's (Kadok Mawe Gonpo) mind, Rigdzin Dorje Chos Rab, definitively established the nature of the tantras as the body postures, speech symbols, and mind intentions of the Great Glorious Heruka, along with his consort and retinue. He first gathered them into his heart and manifested himself as the teacher. From the self-power of his compassion, the assembled Vidyadharas arose and gathered into speech. Later, in the places known as the three abodes, he taught the tantras and the five Agamas, writing them in letters on golden paper with lapis lazuli ink. He concealed them in the sky with the power of his mind and entrusted them to the Dakini Leki Wangmo Che. At the same time, the Bhagavan himself manifested as the Vajrapani who subdues all arrogance (Sangdak Drekpa Kundul), and in places such as the Cool Grove charnel ground, he taught the tantras of arrogance and fierce mantras, entrusting them to the Vidyadharas. This is the transmission of the Vidyadhara's symbols. The Dakini Dewai Ngodrup, for the benefit of fortunate individuals, extracted from the Dharmadhatu and concealed all the tantras of the generation and completion stages in the Cool Grove charnel ground, in the stupa of Blissful Accumulation, using the life-tree of Mount Meru and the wish-fulfilling tree as metaphors: the root like the Zukpa root, the Eight Classes of Magic as the lion throne of the stupa; the stem like the entwined trunk, the mandala of the Gathering of Sugatas in the center of the vase; the branches like the diverging branches, the individual specific tantras on the sides of the vase; the flowers like the clear flowers, all the secrets fully revealed; the fruit like the ripened fruit, the self-arisen Dharmachakra; the essence of the fruit like the union of Buddhas, etc., in the center of the parasol. The exceedingly secret, unsurpassed Yangti Nakpo, etc., the cycles of the Great Perfection heart essence, were arranged on the crest of the summit. They were entrusted to the wisdom activity Dakinis and the worldly protecting heroes and Dakinis. This is the transmission of the Dakini's entrustment. Then, when the time came to tame beings in the human realm, the mind of the Vidyadhara King Kunjara realized the self-power of the nine spaces of wisdom, the eight accomplished masters of spontaneous Siddhi, the gathering of Vidyadharas... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Padma Thötreng Tsal (Lotus Garland Skull) manifested as a Chakravartin (universal monarch), appearing with nine saints. The Eight Great Vidyadharas (knowledge holders) stayed in Śītavana (Cool Grove) for seven days of retreat, during which the Smuk Nak Wanggi Khandro (Dark Blue Powerful Dakini) entrusted them with the terma (treasure) chests of the Eight Great Herukas (wrathful deities), issuing commands. They practiced in their respective sacred places, attaining the state of being inseparable from the Eight Great Lords. Gyalwang Padmākara (Victorious Lotus Born) listened to the specific sadhana (spiritual practice) lineages, transmissions, and instructions from those masters, and demonstrated that he ascended to an even higher state than them. From the Stupa of Blissful Arrangement, he invited all the sadhana communities that had not been previously invited by Indian masters, including Ati Dzogchen (Great Perfection), and all the remaining ones without exception. Heruka and Guhyapati (Lord of Secrets), among others, enthroned him to transfer the empowerment of all the tantric scriptures, and he became a spontaneously accomplished Vidyadhara. He also offered profound Dharma gifts to the previous Eight Great Masters, which is the lineage of siddhas (accomplished ones) and yogis (practitioners) who unlock the blessings and seals. The Great Master himself, invited by the king who was an emanation of Manjushri (wisdom deity), lit the lamp of the sacred Dharma in the dark land of Tibet. He took the life essence of the evil spirits and demons, established the tradition of body, speech, and mind supports, and established monastic communities for teaching, listening, contemplation, and practice. He opened the mandala (sacred circle) of the Gathering of Sugatas (Buddhas) in Samye Chimpu, and fully bestowed the empowerment of practice and instructions to King Trisong Detsen (Chos rgyal chen po) and the twenty-five disciples. In particular, the nine karmically connected heart-sons practiced in the places indicated by where their flowers fell, and signs of accomplishment became manifest. Finally, they dissolved into light at the heart of the Lord of the Family (Vajrasattva). From that, other subjects received the commands of their own specific sadhana communities, and the sovereign king received the complete command of the Gathering of Sugatas, becoming the master of all tantras, transmissions, and instructions. These were passed down successively through oral, aural, and heart transmissions, which is the transmission of the Person-to-Person Lineage. Ogyen (Padmasambhava), the all-knowing father and mother of the three times, with compassion for future disciples, concealed countless major and minor treasures throughout Tibet, gathered by the eighteen treasure revealers, and sealed them with seven layers of seals. They bound the king and subjects with vows of aspiration and words of truth, so that when the time comes for each of their disciples to mature, they will manifest in miraculous ways... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
