དམ་མེད་གཞན་ལ་སྨྲ་མི་རུང་༔ དེ་ཕྱིར་སྙིང་ལ་ཕུར་ཅིག་ས་མ་ཡ༔ རྡོ་རྗེ་སྤྱི་བོར་བཞག །ལས་བུམ་གྱི་ཆུ་སྦྱིན་ལ། ཨུ་ད་ཀ་ན་ར་ཀན་ཋ་ཋ༔ ཞེས་དམ་ཆུ་བླུད་ཅིང་བརྟན་པར་བྱ། དེ་ནས་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོ་བ་དང་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པའི་སླད་དུ། ཁྱེད་རང་རྣམས་ཀྱི་མདུན་གྱི་བླ་མ་དང་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་འོད་འབར་དབྱེར་མེད་པ་ལ་འཁོར་བརྒྱུད་པའི་བླ་མ་ཡི་དམ་ཞི་ཁྲོ་སངས་རྒྱས་བྱང་སེམས་དཔའ་བོ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་སྲུང་མའི་ཚོགས་དང་བཅས་པ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བཞུགས་པ་ལ་བདག་གཞན་འགྲོ་བ་མཐའ་དག་བྱང་ཆུབ་སྙིང་པོའི་བར་དུ་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོ་བའི་འདུན་པས་འདིའི་རྗེས་ཟློས། ན་མོ༔ རྗེ་བཙུན་བླ་མ་སོགས་ལས་བྱང་ལྟར་ལན་གསུམ། ནམ་མཁའི་མཐའ་ཀླས་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་འཁོར་བ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལས་བསྒྲལ་ཏེ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ས་ལ་འགོད་པར་བྱ། དེའི་ཆེད་དུ་ཡང་ཟབ་བླ་མའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་དུ་འཇུག་ཅིང་བསྒྲུབ་པར་བྱ་སྙམ་པས་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པ་འདིའི་རྗེས་ཟློས། ཀྱེ་མ༔ ཁམས་གསུམ་རིགས་དྲུག་སོགས་ལན་གསུམ་བརྗོད། ཡེ་ཤེས་པ་དབབ་པ་ལ་ཁྱེད་རང་རྣམས་ལུས་དྲང་པོར་བསྲང་། སེམས་གཞན་དུ་མ་ཡེངས་པར་འདི་བཞིན་དུ་སྒོམས་ཤིག །ལས་བུམ་ཆུས་ 8-28-5b བསངས་ལ། ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི༔ འཁོར་འདས་སྣང་སྲིད་སོགས་ལས་བྱང་ལྟར་ལ། མ་ཧཱ་གུ་རུའི་སྐུ་ཡི་ངོ་བོར་གསལ༔ དེ་ལྟར་དུ་གསལ་བའི་སྤྱི་བོར་ཨོཾ། མགྲིན་པར་ཨཱཿ ཐུགས་ཀར་ཧཱུྃ། སློབ་དཔོན་དང་པདྨ་འོད་འབར་དབྱེར་མ་མཆིས་པའི་ཐུགས་ཀའི་འོད་ཟེར་གྱིས་ནམ་མཁའི་ཁམས་ཁེངས། དུས་གསུམ་གྱི་བླ་མ་ཡི་དམ་སངས་རྒྱས་བྱང་སེམས་མ་ལུས་ཤིང་ལུས་པ་མེད་པར་སྤྱན་དྲངས། དེ་ཐམས་ཅད་གུ་རུ་པདྨའི་སྐུ་ཕྱག་རྒྱ། གསུང་ཡིག་འབྲུ། ཐུགས་ཕྱག་མཚན་གྱི་རྣམ་པ་འོད་ཟེར་དང་བཅས་ཞིང་སྟེང་འོག་བར་གསུམ་ཐེམ་མེ་ནེམ་མེར་ཏིལ་གྱི་གོང་བུ་ལྟར་གང་ཞིང་ཉི་ཟེར་གྱི་རྡུལ་འཁྲིགས་པ་ལྟར་བྱོན་ནས་ཁྱེད་རང་རྣམས་ལ་སིབ་སིབ་ཐིམ་པའི་མོས་འདུན་དྲག་པོ་མཛོད་ཅིག །ཌཱ་དྲིལ་སྤོས་དབྱངས་དང་བཅས་ལས་གཞུང་གི་ཚིག་བདུན་གསོལ་འདེབས་ཁ་རྐྱང་ངམ། སྤྲོ་ན་སྤྱན་འདྲེན་ཚང་བ་དང་། ཐོད་ཕྲེང་རྩལ་གྱི་སྔགས་ཤམ་དུ། ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱཿ བཏགས་པ་བརྗོད་ལ་བྱིན་དབབ། མཐར། ཡེ་ཤེས་པ་བརྟན་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ། རྡོ་རྗེ་རྒྱ་གྲམ་སྤྱི་བོར་བཞག་གོ །དེ་ནས་དབང་གི་དངོས་གཞི་ཞུ་བར་སྐབས་ཕྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་དུ་མཎྜལ་འབུལ་དུ་གཞུག་ལ། དབང་བསྐུར་དངོས་ལ་རྣམ་གྲངས་བརྒྱད་དུ་བཞུགས་པའི་དང་པོ་བུམ་ 8-28-6a པའི་དབང་གི་སླད་དུ་མོས་པ་འདི་བཞིན་དུ་མཛོད། དུས་གསུམ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་ཡོན་ཏན་ཕྲིན་ལས་ཐམས་ཅད་གཅིག་ཏུ་བསྡུས་པའི་ངོ་བོ། རིག་འཛིན་ཆེན་པོ་པདྨ་འོད་འབར་དེ་ཉིད་བྱིན

It is not permissible to speak to those without vows, therefore, fix the Samaya (Sanskrit, vow) in your heart like a stake. Place the Vajra (Sanskrit, diamond scepter) on your head. Bestow the water of the Karma Kalasha (Sanskrit, action vase), reciting: 'ཨུ་ད་ཀ་ན་ར་ཀན་ཋ་ཋ༔' (Tibetan), 'उदक नरकण्ठ:' (Sanskrit Devanagari), 'Udaka Narakantha' (Sanskrit Romanization), 'Water, Naraka's Neck' (Literal Chinese meaning), infuse the vow water and make it firm. Then, for the sake of taking refuge and generating Bodhicitta (Sanskrit, the mind of enlightenment), the Guru (Sanskrit, teacher) in front of you and the main deity of the Mandala (Sanskrit, sacred geometric space), inseparable from Guru Padmasambhava (Sanskrit, Lotus Born), along with the assembly of lineage Gurus, Yidams (Tibetan, personal deity), peaceful and wrathful deities, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, Dakinis (Sanskrit, female spirit), Dharma protectors, and guardians, are present here visibly. With the intention that I and all beings take refuge until the essence of enlightenment, repeat after me. Namo (Sanskrit, Homage)! Revered Lama (Tibetan, Guru), etc., repeat three times as in the practice text. May all sentient beings, as limitless as the sky, be liberated from the ocean of suffering in Samsara (Sanskrit, cycle of rebirth) and be placed on the state of Buddhahood. For that purpose, I will enter and accomplish the profound Guru Mandala. With this intention to generate Bodhicitta, repeat after me. Alas! Three realms, six classes, etc., recite three times. To invoke the wisdom beings, straighten your bodies, do not let your minds wander elsewhere, and meditate in this way. With the water of the Karma Kalasha, purify, reciting: 'ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི༔' (Tibetan), 'हूं ह्रीः' (Sanskrit Devanagari), 'Hum Hrih' (Sanskrit Romanization), 'Seed Syllable' (Literal Chinese meaning), as in the practice text. Visualize yourself clearly as the embodiment of Maha (Sanskrit, great) Guru. On the crown of the head of that clear visualization is 'ཨོཾ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Om), at the throat is 'ཨཱཿ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Ah), and at the heart is 'ཧཱུྃ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Hum). The light from the heart of the Guru, inseparable from Padmasambhava, fills the expanse of the sky. All the Gurus, Yidams, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas of the three times are invited without exception. All of them come in the form of Guru Padmasambhava's body, Mudra (Sanskrit, hand gesture), speech syllable, and mind symbol, with light rays, filling the upper, lower, and intermediate realms like a sesame pod, densely like dust particles in sunlight, descending and dissolving into you, generate strong devotion. Accompanied by drums, bells, and incense, recite the seven-line prayer from the practice text, or if time permits, perform the full invocation. After the mantra of the Skull Garland Power, recite: 'ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱཿ' (Tibetan), 'आवेशय अह आः' (Sanskrit Devanagari), 'Aveshaya Ah Ah' (Sanskrit Romanization), 'Please Descend' (Literal Chinese meaning), and bestow blessings. Finally, may the wisdom beings be firm. 'ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ' (Tibetan), 'तिष्ठ वज्र' (Sanskrit Devanagari), 'Tistha Vajra' (Sanskrit Romanization), 'Stay Vajra' (Literal Chinese meaning). Place the crossed Vajra on the crown of the head. Then, in order to enter the main part of the empowerment, offer a Mandala. To perform the first of the eight empowerments, the vase empowerment, please generate this aspiration. The essence of all the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the Buddhas of the three times, the great Vidyadhara (Sanskrit, knowledge holder) Padmasambhava himself bestows it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
