Chapter Seven: The Essence of Instructions Self-arisen awareness, I, Orgyen Padmasambhava! Pervades the continuum of all sentient beings! To manifest this for those who have not realized it! Thus, meditate on the stages of the instruction's guidance! Samaya! The compassionate teacher who can transmit blessings! To the disciple who possesses vows and can practice according to the teachings! Bestow the profound empowerment, guidance, oral instructions, and introduction! Encourage them to practice in a secluded place! They should also abandon all unnecessary activities! Settle the three doors naturally, and having thoroughly trained! The leisure and fortune are difficult to find and easy to perish! Generate renunciation from samsara! Strive to adopt and abandon actions and their results! With unwavering faith, take refuge in the Three Jewels!
