Praise: Bhagavan Amitāyus (པདྨ་ཚེ་དཔག་མེད། Padma Tshepakme, Infinite Life), the self-arisen play of Vajra, you sport with heroes and yoginis. I praise you, Vajra Saraswati (དབྱངས་ཅན་ Dbyangs can, Melodious) the Excellent! Your form blazes with the light of marks and signs, your speech proclaims the Dharma of the sixty qualities, your mind knows all that is and is not. I prostrate to and praise Amitābha (འོད་དཔག་མེད། 'Od dpag med, Infinite Light), Lord of Life. Then, to take the four empowerments of the actual practice of samādhi: From the vase of the visualized front generation and the nectar, which are clear as the deity father and mother, the wisdom body comes forth like one lamp giving rise to two, enters one's own crown, and from the crown of the father and mother embracing one's own light-being consort, white rays mixed with nectar arise. It dissolves into one's own crown, filling up to the brow. From the throat, red rays of nectar arise. As it dissolves into the throat, it fills up to there. From the heart, blue rays of nectar arise. As it dissolves into the heart, it fills up to there. From the navel, yellow rays of nectar arise. As it dissolves into the navel, the light fills up to the soles of the feet, purifying the body, and one remains in the equality of the vajra body. This is the vase empowerment. Again, within the empty space of one's own body as the deity, the three channels are clear, complete with wheels and spokes above and below. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
