Rising higher and higher, abide in a state of aimlessness and non-elaboration. During purification, recite the syllable 'ཀ' (Ka), guiding it downwards. May the Lama dissolve into me. Suppress the upper winds and bind them at the navel. By this, even without practice, the state of perfect great Bodhi will be forcibly accomplished, without any doubt. This is the true instruction of transference. Samaya! Seal! Seal! Seal! This was brought forth from Ngamshö Namchak Drak by Drodul Terdag Lingpa (འགྲོ་འདུལ་གཏེར་བདག་གླིང་པ, 'Gro 'dul gter bdag gling pa) (Tamer of Beings, Treasure Lord Continent). From the practice of Vajrasattva's (རྡོར་སེམས, rdo rjsems) (Tibetan, Dorje Sempa, Diamond Mind) Mind Essence, resides the instruction for cutting through the delusion of dualistic grasping. If you wish to cut through the root of dualistic grasping, go to places that disturb the mind and cause fear, such as charnel grounds, islands, solitary trees, etc. Practice the lineage, set up tormas, offer feasts to guests, visualize limitlessly, and give away your body, flesh, blood, and desirable things without attachment. Lie down in a state of non-thought, equanimity. At that time, various conceptual thoughts and deluded appearances will arise, and various experiences, dreams, and so on will occur. These magical displays symbolize the dharmas of samsara and nirvana, which are empty appearances without inherent existence, like permanence and annihilation, like illusions and water moons. Your own mind is without foundation, without root, completely cut off, like the nature of space itself. When subject and object have not been established, in the self-illuminating state of self-born wisdom, cut off the root of delusion, such as acceptance and rejection, hope and fear. Nakedly see, recognize your own place, and abide naturally without pride. This is the instruction for cutting through delusion, which allows adverse conditions to self-liberate and bring forth their essence. Samaya! Seal! Seal! Seal! This was brought forth from Ngamshö Namchak Drak by Drodul Terdag Lingpa (འགྲོ་འདུལ་གཏེར་བདག་གླིང་པ, 'Gro 'dul gter bdag gling pa) (Tamer of Beings, Treasure Lord Continent). From the practice of Vajrasattva's (རྡོར་སེམས, rdo rjsems) (Tibetan, Dorje Sempa, Diamond Mind) Mind Essence, resides the instruction for entering virtue on the scale. The yogi who practices the two stages, when entering virtue on the scale, divides the day and night into four parts each. During the day, practice the illusory divine body, diligently training in luminosity. At night, hold awareness within, ignite the tummo from the 'ཨ' (A) at the navel, and melt the 'ཧཾ' (Ham) (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: ཧཾ, haṃ, ham, seed syllable) at the crown into nectar. On the drop that descends to the heart, hold the mind and arise co-emergent wisdom. At noon, in the posture of a sleeping lion, hold the white 'ཨ' (A) in the heart and lie down in a state of non-objectification. At dawn, the 'ཨ' (A) from within the heart shoots out into the sky a cubit above the crown, hold the mind and arise clear-empty wisdom. In the secret four times, abandon two-thirds of conceptual thoughts, and in the Dharmakaya, practice self-aware wisdom without distraction. Before, after, and in between, the conceptual thoughts of the three times, let them arise and dissolve on their own, and unite with non-thought wisdom. By familiarizing yourself with the key points of the four times in this way, you will abide in the true meaning. This is the true instruction for entering the scale. Samaya! Seal! Seal! Seal! This was brought forth from Ngamshö Namchak Drak by Drodul Terdag Lingpa (འགྲོ་འདུལ་གཏེར་བདག་གླིང་པ, 'Gro 'dul gter bdag gling pa) (Tamer of Beings, Treasure Lord Continent). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
