Small upper and lower, strong and weak, rapid and slow, Submerged and flourishing, etc., it is desirable for the pulse to beat without stopping, contracting, or relaxing. The opposite of this is a diseased pulse, Frequent beating is heat, infrequent beating is cold. However, a disease-free pulse is like a string of pearls, Excessive height, incompleteness, pauses, contractions, etc., Are uncertain, therefore, they have been determined previously. If the root is not understood, it will be counterproductive. If one does not know the male, female, and child pulses, one will mistakenly judge it as heat. The Bodhicitta pulse is mistaken for cold, Incompleteness, interruption, and pauses are mistaken for death pulses. For those who do not understand the pulse, it is crucial to ask questions first. Diagnosing diseases is divided into general and specific. The general pulse distinguishes between cold and heat with six pulses. Strong, flourishing, rapid, tense, and hard are heat pulses, Among them, there are three types of heat: scattered heat, numerical heat, and prolonged heat. Scattered heat and numerical heat are newly developed chaotic epidemics, Prolonged heat is the heat of an old disease. Cold pulses are weak, submerged, depleted, slow, loose, and empty, among other six types. Prolonged cold is new, numerical and scattered cold are old. Specific diagnosis is divided into two types, That is, to distinguish the types of diseases by the pulse characteristics themselves, And through the three parts of cun, guan, and chi and the twelve meridians, Diagnose where the upper and lower organs are specifically located. First, diagnose each pulse characteristic separately: The wind pulse is empty and stops occasionally. The bile pulse is thin and tight. The grayish-white phlegm pulse is submerged and weak. The wind-heat pulse is empty and moves. The phlegm-bile pulse is submerged at the mouth and tight in the depths. The phlegm-wind pulse is empty and slow. The turbid phlegm pulse is thick and distended, and the guan pulse is stagnant. The blood pulse is raised and pulsating. The serous fluid pulse trembles and is difficult to move. The worm pulse is curled and beats horizontally flat. Stagnant, trembling, and curled are leprosy pulses. The contusion heat pulse is thin, hard, and tight. The chaotic heat pulse is thick, enlarged, raised, and pulsating. The epidemic heat pulse is thin and fast. The sore poison pulse is curled like sisters. The short thorn pulse beats short and rapid. Combined poison pulse is rough, blood vessels are disordered, and should not be taken lightly. The flesh poison pulse is thin, fast, astringent, submerged, and moving. The immature heat pulse is thin, fast, and sways like the wind. The flourishing heat pulse is strong and tight. The deficient heat pulse is empty and moves. The hidden heat pulse is scattered, low, and tight. The old heat pulse is thin and tight. The declining heat pulse is thin
