Use fire therapy. For wind and bile, use the antidote that is related to it. For yellow phlegm caused by other factors, combine equal parts of four soups and eight-ingredient myrobalan medicine. Use golden pills to induce vomiting, and hot purgatives of myrobalan (Aru, Slezhe, Kandakari, Gadongga, willow root). Perform bloodletting with a golden spear and use Zhongxi six-flavor medicine. Consume fresh meat, fresh butter, and yak milk. For black phlegm, use myrobalan, white calamus, as well as jujube, amla, and dried ginger. Add sugar to Manu, Usu, Utpala (梵文天城体:उत्पल,梵文罗马转写:utpala,汉语字面意思:青莲花), and long pepper. Add sugar and infuse with boiling water to drink. In general, because phlegm is heavy, dull, and cold, phlegm is the root of all internal diseases. It rarely spreads to the outside, such as muscles, skin, blood vessels, and joints. It rarely moves from its own location to other locations. It mostly accumulates in the undigested stomach. Therefore, protecting the entrance of the stomach is very important. Thus it is said. In the "Nectar Heart Essence Eight Branches Secret Instructions," the chapter on treating phlegm diseases, which is the fourth chapter, is completed. Chapter Five, Treating Mixed Disease Black Phlegm. Then, the sage Yidskyed again asked: O great sage, 25-127 Wisdom of wisdom! The treatment methods for wind, bile, and phlegm are like this, so what are the treatment methods for mixed diseases? What are its symbols, names, and classifications? Please explain, O savior, king of medicine. After asking this, the Teacher Shakyamuni Buddha said: O great sage Yidskyed, mixed diseases should be treated with three methods. However, there are mixtures caused by nature and cause, mixtures caused by the way they occur and time, and three types of mixtures caused by mixed confusion. The latter are immature fever diseases and poison diseases. The former is symbolically called black phlegm. Regarding it, there are cause, condition, place, time, type, and symptoms. Treatment methods and follow-up measures are explained in eight aspects. The causes are phlegm, blood, bile, and wind. Because all diseases are mixed, the symptoms of mixed diseases are difficult to treat. The conditions for its occurrence are heat and cold. The hot conditions are stagnant blood, residual blood, and blood from knife wounds. It may fall on the liver, or excessive hot and sour food may increase blood and enlarge the liver. These do not want to be transformed into nutrients, and fall from the liver into the stomach, mixing with phlegm. Blood and phlegm rot and fall into the intestines. When mixed with bile, the color turns smoky.

It strays into the colon and combines with wind, That is called "Upper Descending Mucus." Due to cold, indigestible, and unsuitable food, It is not digested in the stomach, thus increasing gastric mucus. The fiery digestive function weakens due to the power of wind, Impure substances are not separated and fall into the liver. Not transformed into essence, bad blood grows in the liver. The saliva, as mentioned before, falls into the stomach, Due to indigestion, it becomes the cause, and cold mucus increases. Mucus lurks, hiding like a fox. That is called "Lower Accumulating Mucus." The location of mucus is divided into two types: its own location and other locations. Its own locations are the stomach, liver, intestines, and colon, four types. Located in the stomach, it is similar to mucus disease. Located in the liver, it is similar to blood disease. Located in the intestines, it is similar to bile disease. Falling into the colon, it is similar to wind disease. Other locations wander, divided into external and internal two types. External locations manifest as swelling, skin diseases, local deities (earth gods), etc. Wandering in the veins, it is similar to poison, forming lumps in the joints. Internal locations attach to the life force, liver channels, and blood. The life force is like a castle, and the joints are like a city. Surging upwards to the head, it causes headaches. In the lungs, it causes lung disease; in the heart, it causes heart wind. In the spleen, it causes spleen disease; in the kidneys, it causes kidney disease. Mucus has three stages: the initial stage is hot, the middle stage is the stage of conflict between hot and cold, and the final stage is the stage of cold and tranquility. Initially, mucus is born from heat, expanding due to the increase of blood and bile, it is the hot stage. When cold arises, it initially lurks in its own location, in the middle, blood and bile are hot, while mucus and wind are cold. Their strengths are balanced, and hot and cold conflict. Finally, the heat of blood and bile is exhausted, and mucus and wind increase, transforming into cold. The types of mucus are wandering, swelling, bulging, and congealing, four types. Wandering is divided into outward wandering and inward wandering, two types. Mucus swelling is divided into ruptured and unruptured, two types. Mucus bulging is divided into latent and unlatent, two types. Mucus congealing is divided into new and old, two types. The methods of examining these are divided into general and specific, two types. Generally, it is examined through pulse, urine, disease symptoms, tongue coating, as well as beneficial and harmful dietary habits, four aspects. The pulse manifests as thick, full, string-like, etc. When caused by cold, it is mostly thin and weak. The urine color is dull smoky, turbid. It may also be red, smoky, or green. Symptoms manifest as discomfort in the stomach and liver, vomiting, back pain, etc. The body is heavy, the waist is weak, and the spine is painful. There is a lack of appetite, and the mouth has a fishy smell.
