Emptiness of essence through the wisdom of separation, Absence of causal signs through the Vajra Splinter, and absence of aspiration for the fruits of existence, non-existence, arising, and cessation – these are established. These reasons alone become the essence of the Mother, and for the purpose of dispelling ignorance regarding the three – Ground, Path, and Fruit, it is divided into three doors of liberation. From the door of essence, it is gathered into the single emptiness, so it is said. Although it is necessary to explain the meaning of the scriptures in other ways when explaining the meaning of the words of the scriptures, in the context of the meaning of the names, this way of explaining should also be accepted. So, if the meaning expressed by this sutra mainly shows only emptiness, then, as it is said, in the Praise of Dharmadhatu: Emptiness is the sutra that teaches, Whatever the Victorious Ones have spoken, all of that turns away afflictions, It does not cause that realm to deteriorate. And also from the establishment of entering the three self-natures, Imputation and dependence on others, should be known as the nature of affliction, The nature of complete purification, is considered to be completely accomplished. So it is said, By the meaning of the scriptures and the practice of the path, the afflictions, which are imputed by thoughts, are prevented, However, the realm purified by the perfectly established self-nature, the sacred Dharmadhatu, inexhaustible and undiminishing, is always present as the essence of the basis of emptiness. Therefore, one should not merely look at emptiness, From the Heap of Jewels: Whoever looks only at emptiness, the Victorious One said that they are incurable. And Nagarjuna also said: Those who view emptiness, It is said that they cannot be accomplished. So it is. The old ones, known as self-empty ones, think, emptiness also depends on non-emptiness. Since the dharma of non-emptiness does not exist, emptiness also does not exist. Therefore, we do not grasp emptiness even with the intellect of thought, and when meditating, we do not conceptualize anything, so there is no fault, we think. Understanding that non-emptiness does not exist at all, that itself is looking at mere emptiness with the mind of thought, on top of that, understanding that emptiness also does not exist, therefore, even more than that, grasping extreme emptiness becomes worse. Just as after the people of a city die and it becomes empty, if the houses also collapse, it becomes even more empty.

It is the same. Therefore, it is established that the (emptiness) arising from thought is clinging to emptiness. Furthermore, even if it is just non-mentation, the meditation that merely corrects the appearance of clinging is most likely not observing emptiness itself, and just that alone will not become an antidote to any obscurations. Is such (meditation) related to the view mentioned earlier or not? If it is related, then unless only the part where the mode of clinging is unclear can fully provide merit and satisfaction, nothing more will be gained than during hearing and thinking. And this is only being deceived by clinging to emptiness. Regarding just the point of not being clear about the mode of clinging, no wonderful benefit is seen, and merely striving to correct coarse conceptualizations does not require prior analysis of emptiness and non-emptiness. If it is thought that the previous analysis and the subsequent meditation are not related, and therefore analysis is not needed for the purpose of liberation and meditation, then what is the use of this endless analysis? It is just arguing. Therefore, in the "Entering the Middle Way," it says, "Whatever is a reversed conceptualization, the wise say is the fruit of analysis." This means that hoping for a high view is also in vain. Such statements that seem simple and easy to understand, and whose words seem beautiful, have deceived most of those who are called wise in the Tibetan and Chinese regions. Therefore, the teacher Nagarjuna said in the "Commentary on the Mind of Enlightenment," "Things are conceptualizations, the absence of conceptualization is emptiness. Where there is an appearance of conceptualization, there is no emptiness." Therefore, true emptiness is wisdom, and the arising of wisdom and the disappearance of conceptualization are simultaneous. Emptiness that is merely the non-establishment of anything is not like that, because even if the appearance of conceptualization has not disappeared, it does not contradict the existence of appearance. Therefore, in general, regarding just emptiness, in the "Ornament," it says, "Knowing the emptiness of non-existence, likewise knowing the emptiness of existence, and the emptiness of self-nature, it is said to know emptiness." As it is said, imputed phenomena are the objects of clinging.
