For each empowerment, I offered a piece of silk cloth, For each blessing and instruction, I offered a feast and a fine silk scarf, For all Dharma sessions, I continuously offered excellent Dharma gifts. I requested teachings that had not previously occurred in the snowy region (Tibet), such as the empowerment of Tara Yogini, 17-236 and its generation stage and completion stage instructions with blessings, explanations of the tantras, the Guhyasamaja Jñānapāda system, the nineteen deities of Achala, the empowerment of the Mind Seal, the blessings of the Bindu, the great instructions of the Six-fold Transmission, the Dohas and instructions of Jālandhara, the textual explanations of the Mind Seal instructions, the Four-Letter Instruction, the self-blessed blessings, and the explanations of the texts, the essence of the Four Seals, the completion stage instructions of Hevajra, the instructions of Kusali, the Six-Limbed Yoga, the arising of Wisdom, the Single Lamp, the Single Remembrance, the instructions of Mahāmāyā, the Pāṇḍaravāsinī entering the skeleton, the Jālandhara system, the instructions of the Hunter Pāṇḍaravāsinī, the various colors of Pāṇḍaravāsinī, the three Yoginis, white, red, and blue, the Swan's Vajra Nairātmyā, Vajravarahi who makes cackling sounds, the completion stage of Achala composed by Atiśa, the Four Realities of Glorious Dombipa, the two methods of practice of Mahākāla, etc., were all well received. I exerted myself day and night, making detailed notes of questions and answers on the empowerments, blessings, and instructions, writing down many texts from manuscripts and oral teachings, translating them into catalogs, and recording whatever was said spontaneously. Because a slight conceptual thought arose regarding one profound Dharma, nearing three months, he said that I must leave quickly, so I earnestly requested that I must stay for three years, or at least one year. If I did not, the Dharma would be interrupted. Even though I requested to offer at least this much in gratitude, he said that it was important to go to India quickly. There was no need for wealth or possessions, the remaining explanations and instructions would be taught by my Dharma brothers. Because conceptual thoughts were too strong, 17-237 he said that some instructions could not be taught even if they were explained, and thus did not allow me to stay.

grant. This lord seems very generous in granting empowerments and instructions according to the Indian tradition. However, he said that all these supreme empowerments and instructions are rarely explained in a concentrated manner to those who have reached the level of four disciples. This holy being, as mentioned above, not only possesses incredible scholarly qualities, but also as a sign of a yogi, even we ordinary people can see with our eyes: he can block the flow of breath for about half a day; even in extremely cold weather, he can remain naked without fear, and not only that, but within a fathom or so around him, it feels warm and protects others from the cold; he can block the flow of breath in his mouth and nose, and allow it to flow out of his eyes and ears as he pleases; his feet do not sink in water; even if he inserts two fingers into the ground and loses all the majesty of his body, he can support himself for a long time; he can also know the minds of others, etc., and has the ability to see hidden things. Because of his light body, even if he falls from the second or third floor, he can fall gently like peeling skin; even on steep mountain slopes, he can walk as if on flat ground; poison and mercury, etc., cannot harm his body; with a compassionate attitude, he can even make fierce dogs and wild animals lick his body, inspiring reverence. Crows and sparrows, etc., come to his lap and fingertips, and even when he touches them, they do not fly away, but stay there happily; at the time of empowerment, he can truly bestow wisdom; light radiates from the mandala, etc., and he shows all kinds of miracles to the fortunate ones. Even without eating human food, he can live on food offered by non-humans; when he focuses his mind on the yoga of the gods, the present appearance actually ceases. He possesses the wisdom to always see everything inside and out as rootless and self-liberated. Even the actions of us ordinary people are like this, so who can describe the limits of the qualities of his body, speech, and mind? When asked how he sees the yidam deity, he said, "Actually, I have not seen it with my own eyes, but in stable dreams, the images of Vajravarahi and Tara appear repeatedly, as well as glorious Heruka and Bhagavan Shak...
