Many heretical yogis and dakinis who had attained powers in that area were subdued by the master's gaze and miracles. It is said that under the influence of that power, about twenty vassal kings and panditas who adhered to externalist views became Buddhists. Although the history of each one is not written in detail, some were subdued by a controlling gaze, some were threatened by stiffness, etc., some were shown miracles such as oneness and multiplicity and burning, and some were shown mind-reading clairvoyance, etc., thereby generating faith. There, in the great charnel ground of Ghora Andhakar, when the tsok khorlo was performed, the glorious Heruka, together with the wisdom vidyadhari of Chakrasamvara, appeared manifestly, and the master himself was very pleased, and together with many corpses, accompanied by the praise of mantras, performed dances and circumambulations, so that even skeletons and jackals danced. Many hideous beings also made offerings. At that time, the glorious Heruka, with the sound of mantras preceding, said: Alas! The world is shrouded in the thick darkness of ignorance, like lightning flashing brightly from within thick clouds at night. With extremely gentle and friendly wisdom, as if liberated from all directions, illuminate it with light exceeding a hundred million suns.
