There was. At that time, there was a very spacious and tall mansion. From the railing of the roof of that house, a beautiful woman was faintly peering. He heard someone say, "In a place called Otre, in the house of a black-skinned liquor seller, there is a Buddhist scripture, go and get it." He immediately set out, gradually going to the place of Otre. He asked, "Is there a person here called a black-skinned liquor seller?" They replied, "Yes." He inquired about the house, entered it, and asked if there were any scriptures, but they said, "No." That house was small and poor, and he searched everywhere, but he couldn't find it. After that, he sat at the door of that house, and after a few days, one day, that liquor seller went out. She herself drank a lot of liquor, got drunk, and fell asleep on the street. After a while, she said as if she were delirious, "The great wrathful deity is on the door." So he dug open the door and searched, and found a scripture of the fierce great wrathful deity tantra. He knew that it was an emanation, and although he prayed, there was actually no response. In a dream, he was told that he would become a teacher in seven years. So, he invited the scripture and went to Magadha. Later, after seven years, Vajra Dakini appeared and gave blessings, 17-188 and granted him the ability to show the tantra to others. After that, once while meditating in the Cool Grove charnel ground, he directly saw Heruka, and became a great yogi who had attained power. In this way, by gradually meditating, he perfected the realization of the stages of tantra, mantra, and wisdom. Together with many attendants, he traveled back and forth between Bengal and Magadha, performing various kinds of wisdom practices with and without elaboration. Once, in a city called Khavatza on the border of the country of Magadha, a minister of the king built a temple and requested consecration, so he performed the consecration on the full moon day. On that very day, he also subdued the king of the Mlecchas in the western region of Sindhu. He simultaneously manifested two bodies. Furthermore, in the region of Sindhu, a new king of the Mlecchas was enthroned. In that place, there was a monastery called "Hidden Treasure," where about five hundred monks resided. That king destroyed it.

Desiring to pacify (the war), most of the monks living there fled. Because the heretical king was coming that day. That night, in a small house, lived a yogi who had come from afar. At midnight, there came the sound of music. A monk living there looked through the crack in the door, and saw many women with various postures and forms offering to that yogi. Then (the monk) requested, "You seem to have gained power, please subdue that evil king!" (The yogi) said, "I do not have the karma to subdue him, please invite Master Antarapa!" (The monk) said, "The king is coming tomorrow, that will be too late." (The yogi) said, "I will arrive immediately." Because he was an accomplished one who walked swiftly. Then, as soon as it dawned, Master Antarapa arrived there with his retinue. Then, as the sun rose, the king came there riding an elephant with his entourage. Master 17-189 gazed at the elephant. The elephant's trunk and tusks fell to the ground. The elephant was frightened, and the heretical king also fell to the ground. The master looked again, and the king and all the brave soldiers became mute and stiff. The other armies fled. Then, among those brave soldiers, most knew that the master had attained accomplishment. Because of reverence, they were freed from stiffness. The master looked again, and the elephant's trunk and tusks were restored. The master said that the king had no karma to be saved, and he passed away. Soon after, a king named Yama Dharmaraja, who possessed Dharma, took over that throne. This master mostly benefited beings through the Chakrasamvara method. The guru of the accomplished Tilopa was also this master. Finally, by practicing extremely non-elaborate conduct, the secret stages reached completion. He attained the supreme siddhi of Mahamudra. In addition, there were also the Black Practitioner, the Lesser Practitioner, Bhuvaripa, Bhuva the Wise, and so on, and from Kusala Bhadra the Lesser onwards, even until now, the community of Caryapas has not disappeared. The biographies of those people should be learned from elsewhere.
