Therefore, making offerings to all the Buddhas, likewise, I also offer to the Tathagata, the Protector and all his retinue. To the ocean of virtues, I praise with the ocean of branches of praise. May those melodious clouds of praise, surely arise everywhere. As it is said in the Bodhicharyavatara, recite and offer. Again, prostrating through the door of praise: By whose kindness, the nature of great bliss, appears in an instant. Possessing the body like a precious Guru, I bow to the lotus feet of Vajradhara. The body that embodies all Buddhas, the very essence of Vajradhara, the root of the Three Jewels, I prostrate to all the Gurus. The Guru's body is a Vajra body, beautiful and inexhaustible to behold, endowed with inconceivable qualities, I prostrate to the Guru's body. The Guru's speech is the voice of Brahma, endowed with the unobstructed roar of a lion, causing fear to the deer of the Tirthikas, I prostrate to the Guru's speech. The Guru's mind is like the sky, a state of bliss, clarity, non-conceptuality, and emptiness, well-abiding in the three doors of liberation, I prostrate to the Guru's mind. The Guru is the Buddha, the Guru is the Dharma, likewise, the Guru is the Sangha, the maker of all is the Guru, I prostrate to all the Gurus. Protector, possessing great compassion, omniscient teacher, field of merit and virtue, I prostrate to the Tathagata. The cause of purity, free from attachment, liberating from the lower realms through virtue, the supreme one of ultimate truth, I prostrate to the peaceful Dharma. After liberation, also showing the path of liberation, with great respect for all the trainings, the supreme field, the field of qualities, I also prostrate to the Sangha. 14-279 In Indian language: Eka Gatha. In Tibetan: One Verse. I prostrate to the Three Jewels. Such an excellent person like you, other great ascetics, are not found in the heavenly realms or on earth. They are not found in this world, nor in the abode of Vaishravana. They are not found in the excellent places of the palaces of the gods, nor in the directions and intermediate directions. Even if one were to search all over the earth covered with mountains and forests, where would one find them? The One Verse is complete. Greatly renowned, greatly wise, great sage, great hero.
