What is unclear is: the vajra fist, that is, the thumb is placed inside the palm, and the remaining four fingers are clenched. The mudras for entrusting activities are: some consider them to be samaya mudras, some consider them to be karma mudras, and some consider them to be mahamudra. Although many differences have arisen, whatever ritual is sealed with four rounds of mudras, it is appropriate to act like mahamudra. Because others have no basis, and this one has a clear basis. For the method of sealing only with samaya mudras, only samaya mudras are suitable for entrusting activities. Therefore, for the outer heroes, use the Vajrasattva mudra; if you like elaboration, use the four heroes in accordance with the order of the directions. For the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, in common, a fist is made at the right arm, and a fist is made at the left heart, with the palm facing upwards. For the wrathful deities, use the mudra of the Victorious One of the Three Realms. For worldly people, first perform the dance and lotus rotation, and then join the palms at the crown of the head. If you are going to make samaya mudras, the left hand makes the Tathagata fist, and the right hand makes the gesture of opening with the thumb and index finger, and then join the palms with the palms hollow, this is the mudra of the heroes. Opening the mudra of the treasury of space, the thumb and little finger are joined, and the remaining fingers are extended, this is the mudra of the Shravakas. Starting from the joined palms, starting from the little finger, bend the other fingers inwards and extend the fingers, this is the mudra of the Pratyekabuddhas. In the vajra inner binding mudra, the tips of the two middle fingers touch, and the other four fingers are extended separately, this is the mudra of the wrathful deities and others. On the palm, the thumb and little finger are joined, and the remaining fingers are extended, like a lotus about to bloom, this is the common samaya mudra of worldly people. Therefore, for the samaya mudras of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, there is no completely pure basis anywhere else, so it must be done as stated in the Root Tantra of Manjushri. These are the mudras that are definitely needed if this Dharma is practiced as Yoga. Some people who do not understand the nature of things, deceive many people with lies, they say this: holding the fists together up and down on the left waist is the real karma mudra. Reciting the root mantra's Tadyathā (梵文:Tadyathā), and then releasing the mudra, making lotus rotations in the three places of right, left, and heart, that is its branch.
