Offer with argham etc. Burn incense, scatter white mustard seeds, perform the long life practice. As it says in the Abhisamayalankara, offer an abundant torma on the mandala. ༄། །Preparation. The fourth root chapter is preparation. First is the preliminary torma: Om vajra amrita kundali hana hana hum phat. For the sake of protecting the doctrine and benefiting beings, those who made vows and promises in the past, the great powerful guardians who are swift as thought, those with terrifying forms, fierce and unbearable, those who subdue the wicked and destroy the black forces, those who grant the fruits of the yogi's activities, those with inconceivable power and blessings, I prostrate and praise the eight classes of yakshas and others. May the eight classes of retinues, consorts, children, and servants, bestow upon me all the siddhis. Receive this offering torma, and to us yogis and our retinues, grant freedom from illness, long life, and power, fortune, fame, and good fortune, and the attainment of all vast enjoyments, and the siddhis of activities such as pacifying and increasing. May the oath-bound ones protect me.

May the protectors always be of assistance! Eliminate untimely death and all diseases, Remove demons and obstacles. Eliminate bad dreams and bad omens, Remove bad deeds and evil actions. May the world be peaceful and have good harvests, May grains increase and Dharma flourish, May all good fortune arise from this place, May all wishes in your heart be fulfilled. May the noble and glorious lama's mind, Especially the extraordinary realization, be perfected more and more, In order for all sentient beings as vast as the sky, To attain the state of the supreme accomplishment of Mahamudra. Therefore, I wish to accomplish and offer the great mandala of the Bhagavan Glorious Great Wheel, To enter oneself and receive empowerment, To lead disciples in and bestow empowerment. Therefore, please, protectors of the Dharma who are particularly fond of the white side, Accept this vast offering of torma, Please pacify all obstacles and accomplish all desired activities. Those who are particularly fond of the black side, Who are not allowed to see secret practitioners, Do not stay in this place, go elsewhere! Recite "Sumbha." The blessing of the place is: Om Vajra Amrita... Om Svabhava... From emptiness, within the dwelling place, from the syllable Hum arises a protective wheel. From the seed syllable (Tibetan: བྷྲུཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रुं, Sanskrit Romanization: bhrūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) arises a square immeasurable palace, adorned with four doors and four staircases. In the center of all perfect qualities, from the syllable Ah arises a vast and boundless skull-cup of wisdom. From the melting of Om Ah Hum arise offerings made of divine substances: offering water, foot-washing water, flowers, incense, lamps, perfume, food, musical instruments, and so on, Their essence is transformed from the merit of the mundane and supramundane, Their nature is good and vast, Their place extends to the edge of limitless space, Their time lasts until samsara is not empty, May the gurus and the deities of the mandala wheel, As well as all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, Be able to see and increase greatly.
