Savior of all Buddhas, the manner and distinction of conduct, on the earth and the pāramitā, goddess, you are the witness. Heruka, glorious hero, just as you destroyed the power of the demons, so may I also, from the assembly of demons, gain victory and draw the mandala. Three times. O wise ones, may the activities of the mandala be performed with ease. Oṃ Pṛthivī Devi Bhyah Argham Pratīccha Svāhā. The earth goddess dissolves back into the earth itself. This is invoked from the earth goddess, the mistress of the entire earth. The third is the purification of the earth. Oṃ Bhū Kham. May it become the nature of space. Hūṃ Lam Hūṃ. May it become the nature of vajra. Oṃ Nīlāmbaradhara Vajrapāṇi Krodha Sattva Hūṃ Phaṭ. Recite this and scatter mustard water and ashes. The earth is like space, the wisdom free from elaboration. If purifying the ground for a fire offering, do it at this time. 13-68 The fourth is the seizing. This place is the basis for the enjoyment of my glorious Vajrapani. This place is the vajra seat. I am the Bhagavan Shakyamuni. This place is the realm of Akanishta. I am the essence of the glorious Vajrapani, the eighteen deities. Thus, hold it in your mind, the master of the mandala.

Reside on the surrounding ground, arrange the offerings. If you prefer elaborate rituals, then, as described below, first offer the preliminary torma, bless the place and the objects. If simplifying, just bless the offerings, and from taking refuge and generating bodhicitta onwards, until the completion of the recitation, contemplate the complete and vast manifestation of the self-generation mandala. Then, the disciples from all directions replenish the previous offerings and bless them. The master considers this as an offering to the mandala being meditated upon, offering the three waters, enjoyments, and music, with just the mantra. With the pride of the four wrathful mothers: All Tathagatas are peaceful, the abode of all Tathagatas, the supreme of all dharmas being without self, please explain the sacred mandala. All names are completely and truly perfected, all non-names are completely and truly abandoned, the supreme of Samantabhadra's body, please explain the sacred mandala. The peaceful dharma arises from the supreme, the practice of wisdom is completely purified, the supreme of Samantabhadra's speech, please explain the sacred mandala. The great mind of all sentient beings, its nature is pure and without defilement, the supreme helm of Samantabhadra's mind, please explain the sacred mandala.
