Fire blazed from it. He held that fire on his body. Once, he thought of the city of the Thirty-Three (Tibetan: སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་), and went to the Thirty-Three, staying there for twelve human years. Also, a farmer who had Tara as his personal deity, dug the ground making "phu phu" sounds, and the underground door opened. After reaching the realm of the nagas, he drank nectar, and his body transformed into a rainbow body. A yogini, on the night of the twenty-ninth in the charnel ground (cemetery), burned many corpses and recited Tara's mantra. From the center of the formed fire pile, light radiated and she stayed there. When she applied that light to her eyes, she became invisible among her friends. Furthermore, a lay devotee who had Tara as his personal deity, went to the charnel ground with his friends. A terrifying corpse arose, breathing fire from its mouth. When the friends were frightened and ran away, that lay devotee remembered Tara and rode on its neck. That corpse then transformed into having three hands, three feet, and three heads. One foot and one hand wandered in the ocean, one wandered in the mountains and land, and one wandered in the sky, displaying such miracles. Each of the three faces said: Great hero, what shall I do? I shall go to the place of the gods from the path of the sky! I shall go to the place of the asuras from the path of the underground! I shall go to the place of the nagas from the path of the ocean! Thus it spoke. Among those, if one spoke any desired thing, it would be accomplished. But the practitioner was dull-witted, and not understanding those, said: Please give me a treasure of jewels. That corpse said: Then go to the blue mountain. Having said that, he instantly arrived there, and showed a great treasure of jewels. It is said that for as long as he lived, he enjoyed more wealth than even a great king. Also, a practitioner of Tara, reciting mantras and staying at the root of a Bimbapa tree. Once, at dawn, he saw a path in front of him that had never existed before. He entered that path and walked along it. At some point, in the middle of a pleasant forest, he saw a golden house. Entering there, he saw a servant girl of the yaksha Nadakubara, named Black Yaksha Woman, adorned with all ornaments, the color of her body

There is an uncertain saying, which goes: "Practitioner, please come and partake of this nectar," and so a vase filled with nectar was given. After drinking it for a month, he transformed into a body without birth or death. Also, a devoted layperson who practiced Tara as their personal deity found a magnetic sword on the road. While reciting Tara's mantra, smoke emanated from the sword. Reciting it again, fire blazed. Thereafter, he became able to go to any place he desired in his mind. Every day, he went to different realms of gods, nagas, and non-humans, taking a variety of their special enjoyments and offering them to the Sangha. After many years, he also went to the realm of the Vidyadharas. Also, a monk circumambulated a Tara temple for three years, and from the supreme generosity of her hand, a stream like nectar-milk descended. By drinking it, he became free from aging and lived for three hundred years, remaining at the age of about sixteen. Also, a layperson was praying in a Tara temple. One night, he prostrated at the feet of Tara's statue, and a stone vase appeared from beneath her feet. From that vase, inexhaustible enjoyments of whatever he desired appeared. He provided for the livelihood of five hundred monks for thirty years. After the passing of the noble Nagarjuna, until the appearance of King Dharmapala, about five thousand siddhas (accomplished ones) attained realization by relying on Tara. It is said that the people of this time relied on the tantras of Tara's manifestation, and there were many who attained accomplishment. These are the ways in which Tara's tantras flourished in the past. The way it slightly declined in the middle. The way it slightly declined in the middle is: In the later years of King Dharmapala, it is said that some monks who held the Vinaya persuaded him, or it is said that it was when he had just ascended the throne, but it is clear that it was after the passing of Buddha Yeshe, so it was the former. In any case, in the kingdoms under the sun, they went to all the places where there were secret mantra scriptures and listening and teaching, and after examining very carefully, from the tantras to the way each instruction resided
