The Path of Liberation First, the air goes inside, then it's the time to reverse it. The thought is: in the navel is Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Chinese literal meaning: A), in the secret place is Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), in the heart or throat is Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum). Think that the air arises from these three. Focusing on the location is to see from where they arise. Counting is from one to ten, proceed without making mistakes. Recitation is Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om) when going out, Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) when entering, which are two syllables, or adding Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Chinese literal meaning: A) when staying, it is said to be thirteen syllables. This is the rule of the Great Illusion Network. In Hevajra, Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om) when entering, Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Chinese literal meaning: A) when staying, Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) when going out, it is also said to do it like Guhyasamaja, no matter how it is done, there is no contradiction. Although it is said like that, the practice is: First, the air goes out, goes in, and stops. Always practice counting up to ten times without making mistakes, do one focus round. Then, when the air enters the body, it arises from the red Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om) of the throat, and goes to the soles of the feet. Stay for a moment, focus the mind on the Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Chinese literal meaning: A) of the navel. 11-238 When the air goes out, it arises from the white Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om) of the secret place, and also think that it pervades between the crown of the head and the fingers. Meditate on this focus a little bit skillfully, and also do one focus round on this. Then, on top of that focus, add the method of counting without making mistakes, like before, you must meditate. This is one focus round, this is what is known as Vajra recitation. Second is to place: Meditate that the staying time becomes longer and longer, and the going out and entering times become very short. Third is following: The three, entering, staying, and rising, together with the letters, the mind grasps, and the calm abiding arises. Fourth is completely pure: The air stops without flowing. Inner heat burns as appropriate, bindu melts as appropriate, the experience of bliss and emptiness arises, which is insight. Third is learning colors and shapes: When the air goes out, it arises from the navel or secret place in the form of rays of light, rises upwards from the center of the body, comes out of the nostrils, and goes out far away, meditate on it as being rough, powerful, and with great light. Also, if the disease is mostly cold, then meditate on red, if it is mostly hot, then meditate on white, if it is balanced, then meditate on blue, or meditate on the five colors. Then, when the air comes into the body, the color is the same as that, but it is soft and has little power, the previous one goes out in the opposite way.

It is emitted in the form of... From just below the throat, the color and shape become clear, reaching the center of the land of gentle touch. When staying, visualize it disappearing below the navel. This controls the wind and generates happiness. Fourth, learning vase breathing involves two types of restraint: gradual restraint and forceful restraint. First, emission is to expel stale air about ten times. Second, inhalation is to inhale and then restrain. Third, pacification is to take small breaths; if this becomes a habit, it pacifies suffering, hence it is pacification. When these three become habitual, the state of vase breathing is naturally achieved. Forceful restraint is to restrain with the Lion's Roar Mudra; this is also the system of Mahamaya. It is fine even if the instructions of Hevajra are not explained here. This extensive wind practice is in accordance with the instructions of Lord Maitripa and Glorious Shiwazangpo. Second, the condensed wind purification involves forcefully inhaling and gradually inhaling. The first is: bind the body's key points with the six fire hearths. The body is like a bottomless vessel, without collarbones above and without intestines below. The middle section also has only the outer skin, without flesh, blood, and bones. Saying Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), exhale the air and hold it slightly. Slowly and powerfully draw it in, combining it with the sound of Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), and hold it slightly. Visualize the winds entering from inside the body and exiting from below, going far beneath the earth and disappearing. First, draw in the strong and short male wind, and then draw in the subtle and long female wind. Finally, the neuter wind naturally arises on its own. Second, gradual inhalation has the view of Lord Maitripa and the view of the Guide to the Path of Liberation. The first involves determining the amount of air to inhale with time, inhaling in a lying position at night, and inhaling with the key point of moving left and right. The first is that when the air alternates between left and right, it is the time when the wisdom air flows. Visualize the white central channel from the crown to the jewel, as thick or thin as a pen. By combining the wind of Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) and Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) as before, when exhaling, visualize it extending upwards from the crown, and when inhaling, visualize it reaching between the jewels and entering.
