Above, it merely arises as an appearance. In between, it is not established as anything other than the nature of mind. It is an appearance of mind. Dissolution also dissolves into the mind. The three, arising, abiding, and dissolving, are merely ways of appearing. It is introduced that there is not even the slightest difference in essence. The fifth point of focus: Then, integrate that experience into whatever actions you do, such as walking, pacing, sitting, eating, and accepting or rejecting. Also, integrate it into other virtuous practices. The aspiration that appearances are unreal and that the nature is clear light should also be remembered from time to time. The sixth point of focus. Here, those who practice the Great Seal of reality do not consider meditation that settles the mind, such as contemplating aspirations, to be meditation. As it says in Ngok's "Four Meanings of Clear Light": "Whatever actions you do are clear light, and you should repeatedly meditate with the thought 'it is clear light'." Since this appears explicitly, the religious terms are different. Jey Gampopa also, in one Dharma gathering, refuted Ngok Josay's intention to practice tummo as clear light. The Drikungpas also say, "Untouched by the three great ones," and it seems that the Great Seal practice of the New Tantrikas did not understand the Great Seal of reality that they themselves assert. Therefore, the Great Seal practice of Marpa and Ngok is the Great Seal practice of the New Tantrikas. Although both lineages are based on the fact that the transmission reaches the Venerable Marpa, Marpa, Ngok, and Tsur are lineages of mantra practitioners. Lord Milarepa also agrees with this in meaning, saying in the "Eighteen Questions and Answers": "Mantra is the greatness of skillful means, I do not say that the view is high." And when giving instructions to Lord Dakpo, he does not say, "Merely pursue awareness," nor does he say, "Place it in the uncorrected original state," but rather says, "Meditate on tummo a-tung, and someday you will see the nature of mind," as an example. Therefore, many who came later, based on the fact that the ultimate view of Marpa and Ngok is also the Great Seal of reality, make many empty promises, but it is difficult to actually implement them. There is a danger of falling into empty talk. Therefore, it is necessary to know how to distinguish different views, and it is necessary to understand that there is no conflict in the essential meaning. Here also, the instruction to settle the mind temporarily is a great method for ultimately leading the mind away, so even if the religious terms are different, it is good.

It should be understood that all these points are consistent. Now, entering the main text, enhancing the previous experience is: The nature of appearance is unborn, the nature of samsara is without foundation, the nature of mind is union, the nature of the lama is endowed with lineage. It is said that this was written by Jowo Naropa on the handle of an umbrella. That is, these various appearances that exist now are not actually established. If one focuses the mind on any object that appears in front of oneself, such as a vase or blanket, one seems to be confused by the differences in the arrangement of appearances. If one analyzes the individual parts of the object itself, each part does not have a vase or blanket, etc. Nor is there a whole that is not a part. Since there is nothing other than these two, if one looks closely, there is no vase or blanket. If one does not analyze, emptiness itself clearly appears as a vase or blanket. In this way, the external object of grasping is not established. Since the object of grasping is not established, the consciousness that grasps is also mistaken. Because the object of grasping and the subject of grasping do not establish truth in the previous moment, the appearance of arising in the next moment is also just an illusion and is not established. Meditating on this again and again is the seventh contemplation point. In this way, since all phenomena are unborn, samsara does not exist. If it exists, it must arise from a single cause and condition. Although samsara appears to arise from the root of karma and afflictive emotions, since karma, afflictive emotions, and habitual tendencies themselves are not established from the beginning, samsara is also without basis or root. Eighth contemplation point. The nature of mind is not in any of the three places, inside, outside, or in between. Abide in the mind where no characteristics such as color or shape are established. Ninth contemplation point. It is also not mere emptiness, but something whose nature is not established exists in the essence of awareness. One should remember the nature of bliss experienced during the three stages of the four empowerments, which appears as the sole recognition. In this regard, there is the saying that appearance is known as mind, mind is known as emptiness, and emptiness is known as bliss. Tenth contemplation point. The method of realizing it is the blessing of the lama, so pray and make the lama happy through all that pleases him. Up to this point, there are eleven contemplation points. In addition, there are the self-return of the senses, the mind appearing as wisdom, non-dual union, and water.
