Where does it exist? It doesn't exist like the all-pervading great bliss of flowers and their fragrance. Rather, when a person with jaundice looks at a conch shell, they see a swirling yellow shape. Just as the surface of that (conch shell) is covered with white, if we temporarily assume that this appearance is not prevented, then we say that these are pervaded by it. Because of this, what kind of wisdom makes all the beings of the container and its contents not exist and not be fixated on a nature other than great bliss? When stability is attained, in the appearance of equipoise, all appearances are no different from the mind, and knowing that all aspects of the mind are merely reflections, one single-pointedly abides in the essence of the mind appearing as great bliss. The aspect of mere conceptual consciousness, and its own nature of existence, is also the aspect of ultimate great bliss, holding the aspects of the two truths. When the samadhi possessing that aspect is accomplished, one transcends the stage of the initial practitioner on this path of the completion stage of this vehicle, and is called a yogi. A yogi who knows this, if they cultivate equipoise very skillfully, then without a doubt, in this very life, they will achieve the state of union. Although the arising of that wisdom in the mindstream generally requires possessing excellent merit, here it is said, "Great merit need not be mentioned, even a person with little merit can accomplish it." This can be said to be the final determination of the examination with excellent words. Or, even if there is excellent merit that is the cause of the arising of wisdom, it may refer to being deficient in many other kinds of merit such as lineage, appearance, enjoyment, and learning. The second point is, or the yogi in equipoise should also act as if they are able to do post-meditation yoga, like that through the two yogas. Like this: Like the stream of a river निरंतर(藏文,梵文天城体,निरंतर,梵文罗马拟音,nirantara,English literal meaning: continuous) Like the stream of a lamp's light निरंतर(藏文,梵文天城体,निरंतर,梵文罗马拟音,nirantara,English literal meaning: continuous) Day and night, all निरंतर(藏文,梵文天城体,निरंतर,梵文罗马拟音,nirantara,English literal meaning: continuous) That yogi always निरंतर(藏文,梵文天城体,निरंतर,梵文罗马拟音,nirantara,English literal meaning: continuous) That is to say, in the post-meditation state, it is also necessary not to be separated from the previously shown experience of wisdom. Or, the initial yogi in equipoise, later in the post-meditation state, should also make all the appearances of post-meditation yoga...
