I have not seen even a single page of Samkhya philosophy, nor have I heard even three connected verses, yet he claims to be an expert in the tenets of the Samkhya school. This is too much. It would be better not to speak such irrelevant nonsense. It is your problem to comment on things you know nothing about. If you were to meet a real Samkhya philosopher, you might end up like a mute. According to their view, as stated in the tantras, the substance of the future fruit, an eternal nature, exists now, and they argue based on this appearance and reputation. But here, it is neither appearance nor reputation, but liberation from cause and effect. In reality, sentient beings are not established at all. When establishing in a common way with the two truths, although sentient beings are universally present in the manner of Buddha-nature, it is not seen, and when encountering favorable conditions, it can manifest, and because sentient beings themselves are similar, it is established as the meaning of realm and lineage. From the perspective of ultimate reality itself, the meaning of realm is the Dharmadhatu, and the meaning of lineage is unchanging, not the same as the meaning of cause. Therefore, there is never a chance for the views of Samkhya and us to be the same, do you understand? Therefore, I, Kahna the yogi, also play here as it is, in the nature that is free from all elaborations such as coming and going, and non-existent. That is to say, even though he exists in samsara, he is not stained by the faults of samsara, because he has realized the meaning of being free from coming and going. Not only is he not stained by faults, but he also constantly engages in the play of benefiting sentient beings externally. Thirteenth Song: The Strength of Malla Hill Giant ༈ The thirteenth song, The Strength of Malla Hill Giant, is: The tree of mind with branches of the five senses, causes the fruits of desire to ripen. Cut down with the axe of the supreme guru's words, Kahna says the great tree will not grow again. That tree is nourished by the water of virtue and non-virtue, the wise cut it down with the characteristics of a guru. If you do not know which tree to cut and chop, it will rot and fall, and ignorance itself is the mother of samsara. On the supreme tree of emptiness in the sky, cut down the branches of that tree from the root with an axe.

Thus it is said that from beginningless time, the mind, the tree of mind with branches of five faculties, which manifests and grows endlessly from the branches of the habits of existence, is that from the power of past habits, the appearance of one's own mind arises in one's own mind, that is, the five objects of desire descend and arise. The leaves with faculties and objects of desire are conceptual thoughts, and the fruits are consciousnesses, causing them to descend. The meaning of descending is arising. The faculties and objects of desire are the branches of the mind, and it is said that they arise from the mind. Therefore, it becomes a mental appearance arising from the power of habits. Among the infinite habits, from the ripening of the habits of the root object, root consciousness and the ripening of the habits of root consciousness arise. Therefore, in the appearance of sentient beings, the two root objects arise, and from this, conceptual thoughts and consciousnesses arise. Conceptual thought arises from the mind, and it is also the discrimination of the retinue of each consciousness, that is, the previous, simultaneous, and subsequent arising of one's own consciousness, just as the three high, low, and middle leaves benefit the flowers and fruits. The 'holding' foot of this verse is 'Supreme Teacher' etc., that is, at the end of 'causing to descend', and at the end of 'of the nature', and at the end of 'believing in existence', and at the end of 'acting from self-nature', adding the 'holding' foot, thereby creating a coherent understanding of the meaning of the words. Therefore, for the previous ones as well, it is necessary to examine which is the 'holding' foot. If one does not examine, and like the second foot, identifies one foot as the 'holding' foot in all before and after, then some may face the danger of incoherent meaning. Kahna said: With the axe of the supreme teacher's instruction and pith instructions, after cutting down the tree of mind, that tree will not grow again. That is to say, abandoning the mind with habits to be abandoned with the axe of the path is the greatness of the path and the reason for conventional terms. Not arising again is because it has never arisen from the beginning, it is the reason for the ultimate truth of cessation. If something exists from the beginning, even if it is abandoned many times, that appearance may appear again, because it is impossible to abandon the seed that exists from the beginning.
