Thinking of being pervaded as if not yet arisen, etc., meditating as before, the experience of increasing wisdom will arise. Third, in the heart, without any support, visualize a short black A. Some say that from it arises a dim, unclear light, but I think black is better. By striking the (Tibetan) ཧཾ་ (Ham), from (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) ཧཾ་,हं,haṃ,the letter Ham, a mixture of white and red bodhicitta, or dark bindus Nara Nara, descends and dissolves into the A. Remembering the experience of empowerment, abide in the state where inner and outer appearances dissolve into space, as if covered by darkness, and the experience of attained wisdom will arise. Also, the special features of the instructions are slightly different. For all three cases, only white bodhicitta is descended, and the forms of white path, red path, and black path are not meditated upon. Instead of bindus, the three lights of white, red, and blue are combined in sequence. There is also a method of meditating on a short red A during near attainment. These, like the clarifying small letters, are said to be based on the oral instructions of the guru. However, in the actual teachings of Je Gös's scroll, in the stage of appearance, it is said to visualize the moon in the center of various lotuses, and in the stage of increase, it is said to visualize the sun in the center of a vajra. These are from the Five Stages, and the implication of the many places where purity is mentioned is that these methods of focusing meditation also appear very clearly. In the Five Stages, regarding the stage of appearance, it says: "The mandala of the moon with lotus, as the cause for stability, the first letter with bindu, appearing like moonlight, the wisdom of appearance truly arises." Regarding the stage of increase, it says: "The mandala of the sun with name, likewise with the name of vajra, adorned with two bindus, in this part should be known. Like the rays of the sun, arising from the union of appearance and increase." Regarding the stage of attainment, it says: "The seed does not have bindu, it does not arise from the wind gate, whoever has attained appearance, is the characteristic of complete perfection." The Compendium of Conduct also says something similar. Second, the method of meditating in reverse is: in the stage of appearance, only a state of equal parts of bliss and clarity arises; in the stage of increase, the clarity greatly increases; in the stage of attainment, bliss and non-conceptuality greatly increase, while the clarity diminishes.
