That deity transforms into a mandala of water and the syllable U (Tibetan: ཨུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: उ, Sanskrit Romanization: u, Chinese literal meaning: U) in the heart. The father deity holds a white lotus in his left hand, and the mother deity holds a white utpala flower in her left hand. Both make the gesture of supreme generosity with their right hands. By visualizing riding an elephant that protects the earth in the house to be accomplished, and thinking of performing peaceful and increasing activities, it transforms according to whatever one desires. When that empty form also takes on such an appearance, then by diligently practicing the vase breathing of the heart, the body of peace and increase will be accomplished without obstruction. Similarly, by changing the category of the chakra of the channels, the mandala of the four elements of the seat, the seed syllables, the body color of the deity, the hand implements, and the mounts, all other activities will also be accomplished. Likewise, it is said that all kinds of exhaustion will also be accomplished. For example, from the syllable LA (Tibetan: ལ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ल, Sanskrit Romanization: la, Chinese literal meaning: La) at the navel, visualize the exhaustion of the earth like a bridge. By diligently practicing the vase breathing of the navel, one can walk on rivers or oceans without sinking, and so on. Furthermore, other subtle ways of destroying harm are explained. In the mandala of fire at the throat, a lion arises from the syllable RA (Tibetan: ར་, Sanskrit Devanagari: र, Sanskrit Romanization: ra, Chinese literal meaning: Ra). By thinking that the arising lion can drive away all elephants, if one practices the vase breathing of the throat, one can avert the harm of elephants, and so on, and subdue vicious animals, asuras, and spirits. In short, if one arranges the interdependent relationships of outer and inner phenomena without error, then all thoughts will be accomplished. At this time, the indestructible sound of nada will also arise. Initially, within the dhūti, only the sound of emptiness arises. As it gradually increases, a loud sound like thunder arises, surrounded by other subtle sounds. Soon after, at once, sounds resembling the speech of various creatures, the sounds of various elements, various conversations, and various languages of Dharma, many sounds will arise from one sound. When a beginner meditates on the life-sustaining prana in accordance with the practice, if the fire element is excessive, then the appearance of dripping bindus, a high body temperature, and the flow of sweat will occur. One may feel bindus dripping from the uvula, and so on. If, for some, physical strength is lost due to the obstruction of dripping and the flow of sweat, then one should practice the instructions for guiding and not losing bodily essence. Some may have experiences of bliss and clarity.

Next, the wind element rises, the body becomes cold, and there is a headache to the point that the bindu cannot be controlled. Some people, although showing good appearances, their bodies become bluish-purple, easily emaciated, and their radiance disappears. Others, if they are the same as before, cannot make the bindu grow. These situations can be eliminated by increasing bliss through the path of union. In the stage of holding, although there are times when the burning of tummo opens the channels, causing slight obstacles to the transference of absorbing life force. However, since one can freely control wind and mind, there is no need to rely on other methods of removing obstacles, and the practitioner will understand it himself. When the practice of life force is perfected, one is liberated from most obstacles. When the first half of holding is perfected, there is not even the name of obstacles to meditation. The order and connections of holding have been explained. In the stage of remembrance, it must be determined as follows: In general, it is said in many tantras such as the Samputa Tantra, the Four Seats Tantra, etc., that the first is the sign of a lamp, the second is the sign of electricity or space appearance, the third is the sign of white particles or white light, the fourth is the sign of the enjoyment of desire gods, the fifth is the sign of the form of gods, the sixth is the sign of formless wisdom, the seventh is the sign of the Dharmadhatu, and the eighth is the sign of oneself becoming a Buddha. In short, in the completion stage, these eight signs are these. Although there are various different ways of explaining these signs, here it should be explained as follows: The sign of a lamp is all the signs of the generation stage, and relative to the later branches, it reveals a very small range. All the signs of the life force practice are the second, the sign of electricity, which is larger than the former but unstable. The third, the sign of white light, is all the signs of the holding stage. There, since the melting bliss without leakage has been accomplished, the bodhicitta increases, and one can see the bindu flowing in all the channels, and also in the external environment, the appearance of moonlight and other phenomena arises by its power. The fourth and the following four occur in this stage of remembrance. The fourth is the enjoyment of desire gods, and like the desire realm gods, these are the ordinary five desires.
