By striking the key points of the impure body with methods such as can, one can see the original state of affairs. For example, a sudden wind does not create a new sky, but rather scatters the sudden clouds, thereby revealing the original sky. Here, according to the distinction between body and mind, sometimes the single life-force is regarded as both the sun and the moon, and the single downward-clearing air is also regarded as both the sun and the moon. But in this case, the downward-clearing air should be regarded as the moon, and the life-force as the wind of the sun. In the case of the two channels, if the Roma channel is associated with the red element, it is associated with the downward-clearing air; if the Kyangma channel is considered to be associated with the white element, it is associated with the life-force. However, from the perspective of mutual assistance, the Roma channel and the life-force are of the same essence, and the Kyangma channel and the downward-clearing air are of the same essence. 4-437 Therefore, the winds of the Roma and Kyangma channels merge into the central channel, and the life-force and downward-clearing air combine into one entity, which is simultaneous and of the same essence. Fourth, the Tantra says, "The life-force completely enters the bindu, destroying the movement of both, thereby holding the mind one-pointedly." And the later Tantra also says, "By arising and entering, it diminishes again, and by the limb of holding, it enters the bindu." And the "Stainless Light" also says, "Here, 'bindu' refers to the forehead, 'the life-force completely enters, destroying the movement of both' means being free from coming and going, and 'holding the mind one-pointedly' means holding the life-force in the forehead." Therefore, the nature of holding is the wind that resides in the central channel during the life-force exertion, arising from the lineage of the ten chakras of the left and right channels that existed previously. Now, the wind of the life-force and downward-clearing air, which has merged into one entity, relies on the very stable vase-like practice at this time, entering the indestructible bindu or the unassailable bindu within the central channel. There, the wind with the characteristic of coming and going dissolves or disappears. Although this happens in all six chakras, since the ultimate place of this is the forehead chakra, this is the most important. As the Great Commentary says, "The form of emptiness will enter the mind that grasps, by the power of holding." Therefore, ultimately, the great seal of emptiness-form is the nature of bliss.
