If you can meditate according to the extent of each explanation, it is best. If not, it is sufficient to visualize only the inner wheels of the chakras. The five chakras, such as the navel chakra, each have four petals, and the secret place has six. Among them, if you meditate on the vase breathing of the navel chakra, in the center of the yellow four-petaled navel transformation wheel, visualize a white ༀ་ (Tibetan: ༀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: o, Chinese literal meaning: Om) on the moon within the central channel. There, contemplate that the life-sustaining and downward-moving energies of the right and left sides dissolve into it. Similarly, visualize the white heart chakra, the red throat chakra, the black crown chakra, the green topknot chakra, and the blue secret chakra. Apart from these differences in visualization, the other vase breathings are also inferred by analogy from the previous visualization. These six bindu yogas are condensed into one visualization cycle, which is the thirty-four visualization cycle. In general, extracting the essence of holding is similar to extracting the essence of life force. The giving and extracting of essence here also belong to the category of life force. Second, to impress the meaning of meditation on the mind, including the name and meaning of holding, the time of meditation, the branches of the method of meditation, the signs and extent of meditation, the distinction between what is to be purified and what purifies, and the fruits obtained by meditation, there are six aspects. First, the term དྷཱ་ར་ཎ་ (Tibetan: དྷཱ་ར་ཎ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: धारणा, Sanskrit Romanization: dhāraṇa, Chinese literal meaning: Dharani) can refer to both holding and what is held, so there are various translations. But here, it refers to holding the wind, in the sense of separating it from coming and going. Second, if we consider the actual branches of holding, when the wind constantly flows into the central channel, and when the life force and downward-moving energy are mixed, then we meditate on holding. What is consistent with this is life force. Third, the branches of the method of meditation have five points. First, the object of holding is the bliss wind, that is, the wind mixed with the indestructible bindu. Second, the necessity of meditation is to firmly bind the mind of enlightenment, and to generate the root of the special empty form that directly leads to unchanging bliss—the blazing of fierce fire. Third, the duration of meditation is until one has the power to control the vase breathing of the five or six chakras as desired. Fourth, the nature of holding itself, the scripture says: The life in the bindu is

Entering Ba (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal meaning: Ba) and destroying the movement of both single (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal meaning: single) (the coming and going of air), is to hold the mind one-pointedly. Thus it is said. Generally, in the position of the five or six chakras, the upper, lower, right, and left winds are absorbed into the central channel's bindu. Especially when perfected, life completely enters the bindu of the forehead, so the bindu does not leak, and is stable on the forehead, which is the samadhi of having focused the mind. Fifth, how to meditate on the method of holding. For beginners, the method of meditating in accordance with holding is the same as what was said above. The actual operation is that, through vase breathing yoga, the central channel's air, which had previously mixed the left and right life airs in the six chakras, is emptied by dissolving into the bindu, thereby causing the tummo to blaze. Regarding this, when the tantras and commentaries explain holding, they mostly do not mention the classification of the four chakras. And when distinguishing the ten categories, it is said that it also includes the crown chakra. Therefore, it is necessary to practice holding in the crown chakra as well. Therefore, for the five chakras of the navel chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, crown chakra, and crown chakra, there is one method for obtaining what was not previously obtained, and one method for making what was previously obtained more stable and increasing it continuously, there are two methods each. Therefore, know that the so-called forehead bindu is also a branch of the central channel, which curves from the crown chakra to the space between the eyebrows. Although the secret vase breathing is not explicitly stated in the tantras and commentaries, it actually exists, and it can eliminate and enhance the obstacles of those previous practices, so it must be practiced. The reason it is not listed separately is that it is practiced as a component of the crown chakra's vase breathing. Fourth, in general, it is similar to the previous ones, but in particular, the tantra says, "Until the black line is immaculate, radiates light, and the power of time appears." It means that the appearance of a black line in the central channel, as well as the blazing of tummo and the indestructible sound, are even more excellent. And the measure is similar to life exertion. Fifth, if we distinguish from the perspective of what is to be purified, then the aggregate of feeling (fire element, eye faculty, place of taste, hand faculty, action, i.e., the six fire elements) etc. the aggregate realm is one group of the six fire elements. If we distinguish from the perspective of the path of holding itself that is to be purified, then
