If just knowing this is enough, then the subsequent instructions should be taken here. Intermediate Virtuous Guidance Secondly, the intermediate virtuous guidance is divided into two: causing the karma wind to stop in the Avadhuti (Tibetan: ཨ་ཝ་དྷཱུ་ཏི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अवधूति, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: avadhati, literal Chinese meaning: Avadhuti) channel, and dissolving into the indestructible bindu in the central channel, namely the life-force [of] guidance and the holding guidance. Showing the Life-Force Guidance First, showing the life-force guidance includes the key points of practice and imprinting the meaning of practice in the mind. First, the limbs of the life-force are divided into two: those who truly possess the characteristics and those who are in accordance with the life-force should practice first. For the time being, let us explain based on the latter. Among them are the instructions transmitted from Panchen Shakya Shri, the oral instructions of Panchen Chandragomin, known as the Dro tradition, and the oral instructions of Jowo Samantashri, known as the Ra tradition. These three should be taken as the foundation, and other scattered traditions are mostly in accordance with these, and those with slight differences will also be explained. Among them, the oral instructions of Panchen Shakya Shri include: preliminary Vajra recitation to purify the channel paths, after becoming proficient, using the practice of filling and emptying with gentle air to cause the life-force to enter the central channel, after entering, using the practice of the vase with coarse air to bind the life-force in the central channel, if it cannot enter and cannot be bound, then using the forceful method to block the paths of the sun and moon, after blocking, if the lower gate is forcibly closed, then liberating with the upper method, tasting the essence of the inner nectar with the practice of moving the three tongues, mixing the life-force up and down and accomplishing immortality with the practice of igniting inner heat. This is called the Vajra Six Words. Among them, the first four sentences are the oral instructions of the life-force, and the latter two sentences are the oral instructions of holding. At this time, it should be done like this: the actual oral instructions of the life-force, as well as removing obstacles and eliminating adverse conditions. First, like the letters of body training tsalung written separately, practice these with the preliminary tsalung. Among them, if according to the tradition of Panchen Shakya Shri, it is the first three air practices mentioned earlier, among which the first is to purify the channel paths with Vajra recitation, namely the way of looking.

Specifically, the so-called "view of eliminating obstacles or accumulating nectar" is to look slightly upwards from directly in front, focusing the gaze on the space between the eyebrows. Except for special cases, all viewing methods during vital energy control and holding are definitely this one. As stated in the tantra: "By the view of eliminating obstacles, entering the path of nectar, one can also quickly accomplish the six branches." The other physical postures are the same as before. Perform three rounds of expelling breath. First, without distraction, focus on the three aspects of breath: exhaling, inhaling, and holding. This is the first key point of Vajra recitation. Then, visualize the three channels clearly: inside the body, the central channel (Umay) is blue, about the thickness of a medium arrow shaft, with its upper end inserted into the crown of the head and its lower end located at the navel. To its right is the red Roma channel, and to its left is the white Kyangma channel. These two channels are twice as thin as the central channel. Visualize the three channels converging together. When exhaling, starting from the navel, the breath goes out through the central channel and the Roma channel, exiting from all parts of the two channels from the throat to the crown of the head, visualizing it exiting from the nostrils. When inhaling, the breath enters through the nostrils, entering unimpeded through all parts between the central channel and the Kyangma channel from the crown of the head to the throat, and the path of the two channels reaches the navel. When holding, visualize the central channel being filled. Initially, make the exhalation, inhalation, and holding equal in duration, and then gradually increase the duration of the holding. If exhaling through the right nostril, visualize the breath as red light; if exhaling through the left nostril, visualize it as white light; if exhaling through both nostrils simultaneously, visualize it as green or blue light moving through the three phases of exhaling, inhaling, and holding. This is the second key point of Vajra recitation. Some practices involve blocking the left nostril when exhaling and blocking the right nostril when inhaling, but this is not necessary during Vajra recitation. Then, as before, when exhaling, visualize the light rays accompanied by the sound of (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城體:आः,梵文羅馬擬音:āḥ,漢語字面意思:Ah), with the syllable (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城體:आः,梵文羅馬擬音:āḥ,漢語字面意思:Ah) at the tip of the light rays as they go out; when inhaling, visualize the sound of (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城體:ॐ,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ,漢語字面意思:Om) accompanying the light rays, with the syllable (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城體:ॐ,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ,漢語字面意思:Om) at the tip of the light rays as they come back. These two syllables do not go in and out through the Roma and Kyangma channels, but visualize them going out only through the central channel. During the holding, visualize
