Therefore, if a state arises where nothing appears, the karmic appearances will quickly cease, and a vast array of clear light appearances will arise. This method is very effective and the way of appearance is excellent. If the signs disappear and the karmic appearances remain, or if the signs become unclear and the karmic appearances become clear, then the meditation on extracting the essence is not yet mature, so one should meditate on the root of the object of focus. Once familiar with this, one should practice making the objects larger and larger, until finally, with great mountains etc. appearing as empty forms, apply it to all appearances. This is the eleventh instruction on objects of focus. The two methods of seizing the clear light within the Duti and seizing the clear light at the gate of Prana are related to the instructions on Prana. Unless one has attained very stable meditation, it is difficult for beginners to succeed, so they are not explained here. If one has a stable experience of hearing the sound of emptiness, mix it with the sound of karmic appearance, such as the sound of a waterfall, and perceive both sounds simultaneously, then focus the mind on the equality of the two. In this way, the sound of the waterfall will cease, and only the sound of emptiness will remain. Then, practice applying this to the sound of many people gathered together, then practice applying it to all speaking sounds, then practice applying it to all sounds of oneself and others, so that most sounds will become the sound of emptiness. Although this method can also be applied analogously to the three senses of smell, taste, and touch, it will not be explained for the time being. This is the twelfth instruction on objects of focus. The second method is almost the same as the stage of dissolution, except that when sleeping, one focuses the mind on the empty form, and falls asleep without being interrupted by conceptual thoughts. In this way, one can quickly grasp the clear light of sleep, and if the empty form can appear within one's own body, one guides the empty form to the heart, and then falls asleep while focusing on it, there is no doubt that one will grasp the clear light of sleep at that time. This is the thirteenth instruction on objects of focus. The second part is to impress the essential points of meditation on the mind, including the definition and meaning of meditation, the timing of meditation, the branches of the method of meditation, the signs and degrees of meditation, the distinction between what is to be purified and what purifies, and the fruits obtained through meditation, which are six aspects. The first aspect is that "Dhyana" (梵文,Devanagari: ध्यान,Romanization: dhyāna,汉语字面意思:禅定) refers to the mind not being shaken by the object of focus, that is, if the bolt is well installed, the door leaf will not shake.

In terms of, it is the meaning of gaining freedom over the object of focus, just as opening a door grants freedom. In the Vimalaprabha it says: (Meditating on the emptiness of various objects through the appearance of unity in the five empty forms of objects and the five wisdoms that see the empty forms of subjects during meditation is to remain one-pointedly.) Meditating on the various forms of the ten objects and subjects as one. As it is said, one makes the mind one-pointed on that clear light of emptiness that possesses all perfections, and it is the meaning of gaining freedom to abide and move as one wishes. In general, the meaning of meditation is similar to explaining one-pointedness on the object of focus. Secondly, it is best if the retraction is completed, but if not, it is the time when the sign of clear light appears steadily. Thirdly, in the "Summary of Empowerment," it says: (Not like something fabricated by modifying the mind) Forms appear like dreams. Always meditate on that form. Thus, the essence of meditation is: the samadhi of focusing one-pointedly on the signs of clear light. Its limbs are: In the Condensed Tantra, it says: Meditation is also wisdom, investigation and analysis, joy and unwavering bliss, the one-pointed hero. As it is said, the mind that is one-pointed on the ten signs of clear light is wisdom. As it is said, "Investigation" means grasping objects. Knowing the characteristics of emptiness, which is named as an object, is investigation. The way to know the characteristics is also to experience that it is only one's own mind. Experiencing and ascertaining that the nature of the mind appears as an empty form, without being tainted by the grasping and the grasped, or the conceptual thoughts of objects and subjects, and the characteristics of elaboration, is the limb of analysis. The bliss of the mind brought about by samadhi, the external and internal focus arise in sequence, the external focus is like finding a great treasure that has never been found before, giving rise to joy and happiness, which is the limb of bliss. The internal focus is experiencing the samadhi itself appearing as bliss, which is the limb of unwavering bliss. Caused by this, the body is pervaded by a special bliss of perfect pliancy, which is another benefit of unwavering bliss.
