福德虽小亦能成办。如是说。 3-494 于此及诸佛，由见及触，未入坛者，亦能见真实。如是说，前后之教证，何者为有力？自宗广释彼等教证不相违之义。然灌顶上师所灌之，身体之根为莲花心。入于如是坛城而见者，与彼等坛城相较，仅以表诠方便而入，及以自之分别念所造之天尊相，与图画之坛城等，有何重要？未入坛城与未见者，是因不成也。未灌七灌顶而灌顶上师，是允许的，何以故？师长不犯泄密之根本堕罪。弟子为获得灌顶之故，如是反驳而言，有何可说？犯根本堕罪，谓昔未得灌顶者，为说秘密之故，若如是想，则昔未得其他灌顶者，引入坛城及灌童瓶灌顶，亦将导致师长犯根本堕罪，谓彼境昔未得灌顶者，师长为说秘密之故。又于彼不犯泄密，谓彼境亦于此时具足意乐，且为此人作此七灌顶之仪轨之故，若如是想，则强行灌顶上师灌顶，亦不犯泄密，谓彼亦具足信心，且仪轨亦仅为此人而作之故。又如是之时，彼弟子亦获得上师灌顶，谓生起上师灌顶之律仪之故。彼亦成立，谓四上师灌顶，是生起圆满次第律仪之灌顶。除四上师灌顶之外，无有生起圆满次第律仪之灌顶之故。周遍也，谓已灌顶生起上师律仪之圆满灌顶之故，若谓有其他，则说为何？童瓶等也，如是说，则若得童瓶，则周遍生起圆满次第之律仪，应成太过度。童瓶是生起圆满次第律仪之灌顶之故。于彼生起也。

Even small merit will be accomplished. Thus it is said. 3-494 In this and all Buddhas, by seeing and touching, even those who have not entered the mandala, will also see the truth. Thus it is said, which of the earlier and later scriptures is more powerful? The self-tradition extensively explains the meaning of those scriptures without contradiction. However, the empowerment of the upper master bestows the power of the body, the bhaga mind. Entering and seeing such a mandala, compared to those mandalas, entering only by symbolic means, and the deity images created by one's own conceptual thoughts, and the painted mandalas, etc., what importance do they have? Not entering the mandala and not seeing it is an unproven sign. It is permissible to bestow the upper empowerment without bestowing the seven empowerments, why? The teacher does not commit the root downfall of revealing secrets. What can be said if the disciple refutes and says that it is for the sake of obtaining the empowerment? The root downfall is committed because the secret is revealed to those who have not received the empowerment before, if you think so, then introducing into the mandala and bestowing the child vase empowerment to those who have not received other empowerments before will also lead the teacher to commit the root downfall, because the teacher reveals the secret to that object who has not received the empowerment before. Also, there is no revealing of secrets in that, because that object also has intention at this time, and because this ritual of seven empowerments is performed for that person, if you think so, then forcibly bestowing the upper empowerment by the teacher also does not reveal secrets, because that person also has faith, and the ritual is also performed only for that person. Also, at such a time, that disciple also obtains the upper empowerments, because the vows of the upper empowerments are generated. That is also established, because the four upper empowerments are the empowerments that generate the vows of the completion stage. Because there is no empowerment other than the four upper empowerments that generates the vows of the completion stage. It is pervasive, because the complete empowerment of generating the upper vows has been bestowed, if you say there is another, then say what it is? The child vase and others, if you say so, then if you obtain the child vase, then it should pervasively generate the vows of the completion stage, it would be too extensive. Because the child vase is the empowerment that generates the vows of the completion stage. It is generated there.
